The Whistler show yet again will be off the chains. Martin rams Tommy Africa's on his own so I can't imagine both of them together. Gonna be insane. eighty5 - I will call to find out. I'm at work today so I can't do it today myself but I think Dennis may play courier boy and drop them off. I will post once I know. |

hmmm I'm wondering if Clubvibes and Clubzone shgould charging GST
Ticket Price - $25.00 Service Charge - $5.00 PST - $0 GST $2.10 Total - $32.10 If a website charges the customer tax on top of the ticket charge is that right? The promoter already has to pay tax on the bulk amount of ticket sales after the show. Doesn't this mean the government is getting paid twice for the same ticket sales? Ticketmaster shows the tax breakdown but does not charge extra tax on top of the ticket. For example a $25 ticket will remain $25 (plus service fee) but will sow up on a statement as $23.25 + $1.75 GST = $25. Paying out the full amount, (minus their fees) Leaving it up to the promoter to pay the tax. Also why does tax get charged to both the ticket price and the service fee if it's two different companies charging those prices but all the tax money is going to one company? Using the above example $25 ticket price x 7% GST is $1.75 $25 ticket price + $5 service fee is $2.10 I'm not a tax expert but a lot of this seems like it's being done wrong. But then again I could be wrong. |
