Got there at 8:30 in line for a while then when the whole shoving and pushing came i was gettin choked !! oh well newayz ya Lighting was wicked in the main room however i wasn't even in the main room for more than 1 - 2 minutes ! too MANY SKETCHY NAMMERS !! too scary for me so of course i stayed at home were i belonged IN THE BREAKS ROOM !!!!! Chi Chi good set girl :P gotta have more fun though and let go :) FREE BABY FREE !!!!!! Chigga - SICK AS ALWAYS !!! KEEP IT UP !!! the party was fun...sumthing different about the plaza tho..but wutever...the line up sucked..claustraphobic people fainting..me getting squished and nearly run over..weeee....
then inside..walked around..basically stayed in the bc room the whole nite..music was awesome in there..saw lotsa people i hadn't seen forever...which was nice..=)..the water thingy sucked...and people never went outside to wash their hands...dirrrttyy!!... heh..with the meets..i went to the first one but no one was there..a group of us were there for a while..but yeah..no one..so yeah..and at 3..i was too lazy to drag my ass over there..=P..our meets never work..=P~ i didn't take as many pics as i usually do cuz i got lazy..the secruity wouldn't let me sleep..i probably got a total of 10 mins..cuz they woke me up every two mins..ahhh!!...heh..ah well...*HI* to people i saw..hope u all had sum fun too~ Last edited by ~lazee_grrl~; Feb 24, 02 at 11:23 PM. |

well,
niether the words good nor bad would accurately discribe this "all night rave dance party" known as "WETT", that i attended saturday evening 'Eventful' is a word i have come to embrace when describing parties because it's all about the amusing antics of a vast mixture of etards, techies, kheads, gholers, and ohmygodivedoneeverythingigotmyhandsoncau simatoolers (my persnal favs - always the life of the party those ones) flailing around me. ah yes, my earliest recollection brgs me to the sudden death of a young asian woman in the arms of her clever male friend in front of me in the line up. our hero, looking at the widely staring eyeballs of his breathless companion, refused to leave the line when i asked him because he was absolutely positive that quick, constant, jabbing motions to her head would ensure not only her instant revival, but also the absence of an embarrasing "scene". well, there's something about seemingly dead dilated pupils bigger than my booty staring at me that appears to rub my the wrong way. so i grabbed a security guard and yelled a lot of incoherent random words and obsenities. ah yes, well luckily all it took was 5 mins and she returned to us from her euphoric rapture. unfortunately security wanted to make sure she was ok and escorted her to first aid or wherever the hell (one look at the eyes of the young gal brought concern to the aiders face) as fragile as i am it took time to recover. but no sooner than the fading of sheer flabergast was another jolt to my world of innocence - the sweetest gal behind my group of peeps in the line suffered the unfortunate effects of claustrophobia. she was a sweetie an reentered the lineup after a short recovery (whatta trooper). i did my best to create for her the illusion of "big open spaces", but i was at the same time watching over an adorable group of girls who were being overlooked by the rushing mofos due to their somewhat tiny stature (oh i know - fricking cute). Although i suffer from a sore painful raspy throat, i did my best to hurl insults and hidious (even rude) words back at the blindly pushing pack of dumb fuck mofos. however it seems the problem causing mofos responded to any sort of movement or change in the air current with madly pushing the people in front of them so that i quickly became quite close with the nice young gals in front of me. well, life before the lineup became a haze in my mind shortly after the life-shattering struggle began, the battle for freedom to breathe and feel the ground beneath my feet. and i am having trouble remembering whether i died there or life went on. But i am not bitter about that line up - certainly not - and of course i will not dwell. oh wait! oh yea! i am a fag! dwelling and bitching is WHAT I DO. and it would appear i have enough for now. but WHOA - hold up. SICK FUCKING JUNGLE. that insane mofo Dabbler delivered many the unwholesome orgasm on the dance floor. oh yes - he knows how to give it to me. manos one also went off life a CRAZY MAD MOFO. oh yea! am not kidding around here - this is serious frickin shit - sweet ass jungle shining light on the unenlightened. DigDug'sthe fucking shit of course - though would have preferred a breaks set instead of speed garage. Gumbee was just Gumbee, and Flave left me all warm and afterglowy. what the fuck else i wonder? jebus mofo - what a bloody long post - who the fuck is gonna read this? i suppose that it is a wonderous thing that i am too exhausted from typing this post to include all of the other adventures that contributed to my opinion of "Wett" HOWEVER, i absolutely must include an exciting (possibly even thrilling) announcement that rejuvenated me in my tiredness. OH YES, THAT"S RIGHT. After a bloody fricking year of harrasment escalating from annoyed comments to blatent angry bantering (yes, i was asked to please not speak to him like that for it was causing extreme frightening confusion and upset)by myself and my partner in crime Rhianna, the impossible occured. my dear little riceboy approached me and greeted me using my correct name. almost in tears i flew into loud yelling. after seeing him every weekend over the summer and periodically through the rest of the year peter finally remebered my name (not rhianna's - and frankly i think it's now more annoyance for her than anything else - just as it was for me). but of course he did feel the need to request my ICQ number, even though it's prolly writted 4 billion times in his lil' raver book. oh well, bottom line. Although i don't know now where i stand with large parties - Plaza is "the shit" (if you will) and ripping it up to good music is like the DJ's giving it to you hard without mercy |

oh yea, by the way, i suppose its important people know that i never proofread anything i post. so if certain things don't make sence or if my BODMAS is just entirely out of hand i apologize and don't need replies commenting on it cause frankly i have deeper feelings for riverside washrooms.

My friends and I got there late, so there was no line up, we just walked straight in haha. (We got there at like 12)
My friend Meg (aka mom) wouldn't let me do drugs, so I went sober. It's such a different experience. I didn't have any problem staying awake cause I'm practically noctural, but near the end I just ran outta energy to keep dancing. I totally wore the wrong shoes, big mistake. So if any of you saw a chick wearing yellow pants and a red tank dancing in her socks in the theatre with her shoes on the floor in front of her - - that was me!! Dj Ricey - I stalked you last night, I kept seeing you and trying to get your attention. I even tapped you on the shoulder once and you ignored me! But finally I got to talk to you yay! So what's your new email address you were telling me about? Well I had tons of fun, plaza parties rule baby!! :c-tard: |

Yum, that party would have to register as one of my favourites. I don't know why people thought it was packed. I thought saturday had JUST enough in it to be comfortably packed with room to dance/flail. The DJ's the entire night were fucking awesome. Hirshee got the crowd pumping right off the bat, greg c. dropped some DOPE hard trance, Ingo kept the pace going with tiesto style trance, and Jon the Dentist was off the hook. If it wasn't for a little skipping through his set due to the crowd being so pumped that THEY WERE MOVING THE DJ DECKS, his set would have been my most memorable raving moment. Shahzad brought back some old tunes that i couldn't help but cry in memory. Even at 5:30 when everyone usually starts slowing down, azim kept the party pumping. and TAZIX. for ANYONE who stayed up till 7 to hear tazix, you'll agree that he dropped one of the best morning sets to ever grace plaza. The Giant Fairy Trance was there, but he kept it pumping and hard for the die hards who didn't want to leave. The lighting was very creative. Scaffold towers everywhere, with a bajillion lights hanging from every inch. The sound was consistant, and speakers were set throughout the room, so this was probably the first time that it wasn't quiet, but it wasn't loud enough for your ears to ring in the morning. GJ masterplan. The VIP room was dope. inflatable couches, fresh food (subway sandwiches, fruit, veggies, drinks). THE THEATER. This will prove that vancouveR LOVES hardhouse. they packed the room to the point where they had to control the population. The turned on the lights as a security pre-caution, but this only bugged a few people. Flave and Trial&Error tore shit up. Manos One and Precise were PHAT. i'd have to say that they out did the international headlliners. Ok, in regards to the mass vietnamese population. WILL YOU GUYS SHUT UP!? sure, there were a lot of nammers, but they were dancing too. they were out to have fun. those who were tripping out atleast tried to move to the fringes. I met a lot of nice people who looked intimidating at first, but i'm glad i stepped out of my comfort zone to make a few friends. I'm glad i didn't cut my WETT experience short just because i think nammers are scary. because i would have missed a GREAT time in the mainstage. My Wett Rating : 5.5/6 stars. Lawrence |

great party!! it was good to be back at the plaza, and all my friends were there so it made everything so much better!
ingo was REALLY good in my opinion.. i love tidy djs! i still love hardhouse... but i cant dance to it anymore hehe breaks/jungle room was where i was for most of the night... its allll about the break beats! haha and the DA base camp ruled but the lineup was horrible... i wanted to hit so many people.. fucking rude people! john 2899131 |

deadly party...line up was kinda crazy but once your in you dont even think about it anymore...i also loved ingo set greg c. also got me going.. the lights were nice touch and WETT beeing my firts plaza party it was pretty wild.... and yes pumpin' you were right there was so many beauiful ladies there it was nutz...but i can't for for freedom now i already got my ticket..

HAHAHA WETT fuckin rocked... somewhat... first time iever slept at a party i think... kinda weird.. i Was in the main room for most of the night even though there were so many flailing nammers everywhere this time not just the front! hahaha but anywhoz theatre was nice! awesome music in there loved boucning to that.. the bc room was just insane! loved that room to death.. but nothing beats trance haha I LOVE TRANCE so the main room was sweet... anyone else find that Jon the Denist wasn't that great? I really liked the first 2 or 3 sets haha can't remember now... but yeah
1 song that really stood out to me was the mix of Robert Miles - Chjildren somee sort of hard house mix.. it sounded so good! U mmm I owe a lot of thanks to Winnie Thank you Winnie =) Ty haha man that was an intresting party eh? Wett was freakin awesome!! Sooooo much incredible music! Yah, Trial and Error destroyed just about everything, the breaks/jungle room was super tight, lots of sick sic tunes, and the girl MC that was rippin it freestyle about grouse mountain for me on the dancefloor, you rocked the house!
Oh man, yah, that hard hard remix of 'children' just about knocked me over. Good party, tho the line up for the upstairs room was a little bunk. And with the hockey game to entertain on sketchy sunday, YES!! |

anyhow... ingo rocked the room since the first beat... anyone know that track? the very first track that got my ass shaking for so long g'damn! that's all i waited for. bouncy hard house and sumhow that punk of an england dj moved into trace at the end... i woulda felt better if he blended in his last track with jon's intro track...but i guess that's not how they do things around here...or there. jon was ....bleah... shazad was better, azim kinda improved and tazix... *laff* tazix shoulda headlined instead of jon. and that my friends, is true. anyhow...i thought gumbee was alrite... always kinda thought he was better on vinyl/cd than live but his sets were better than be4 so no complaining... i missed flave kuz i hated that fucking line up. scratching from manos and precise was pretty funky. oh yah, WHO PUT THAT MESSAGE ON THE DJ LINEUP SHEET IN THE BC ROOM POINTING TO GUMBEE AND FLAVE SAYING, "NEVER TO BE PUT ON @ THE SAME TIME SLOTS EVER AGAIN" that was futtin hilarious. |

i had such a good time, and was quite surprised that i lasted until 5:00..2 of those energy pills and one energy drink kept me dancing all night! i was in the bc room most of the night..but then crawled up to the theater to see cinto and seth and nigel's set. those boys were shakin their asses like it ain't no thang! obviously having a good time! props to the peeps that came along in my big green van: Caitlin, Rhianna, Karl, Sammy, Lauren and Kim! hellz ya |

this was an amazing party.... although the lineup into the theater and the no water was bunk.. my favortie set would have to be flaves. this was definetly one of my fave parties.....wouldv been better if i hadnt been so incredibly high though.
