good show overall, great turn out for just before new years. i don't know though, i honestly thought it seemed a little flat, but then i never made it to the middle of the dancefloor. it was just the sound for me, not nearly as crisp (or as loud) as i would have liked, seemed pretty padded in the high mids and highs. people didn't seem to go ape-shit, needed an mc to step up and introduce them then step off.
and if i'm paying $6.50 for a heineken you'd at least think that it'd be cold. didn't get a single ice cold beer all night long. as fror the club, atlantis is great, just needs a smoking room. they can't do ins and outs because of noise complaints from the idiots who bought condos next to a nightclub then realized that nightclubs are noisy. i thought the staff were good, bar line-ups not tool long, and the bouncers are fine imo. and josh buddy.....ouch! up next mathematics... |

The lineup was : Eric Zee from OnPoint . then it was Choda.. oops I mean SODA, then Ed Rush & Optical.
As for bouncers doing their jobs and keeping the peace, ever been to Atlantis on a Friday or any other night that isn't a special event night. I believe the club is still undergoining renovations and the sound should be tweaked soon. Either that or they're not use to dnb shows. I'll have photographs up soon. I'll post it in this thread so its easier to find. If not always bookmark this new site. http://www.sleepdep.ca as this is where Ill upload the last 7 years of events. Yeah The mosh at Pendulum was too tight for my liking, I like movement not being squished and crushed, I like to be able to swing some elbows.
And the fact that I think Pendulum sucks doesn't help. All I know is as soon as They Played Upbeats it was better than Pendulum for me. Upbeats fuckin' kill. It was too quiet though, someone should've told em' to turn that shit up. |

Is that english? Wicked show last night. Great venue... great sound.... great set from the boys. I had a blast playing.... total honor to open. Props to Y'Arpy and the Ph1 crew. Oh and for the record.... I played "All That Jazz" but only as a tease over my last tune which was a new one from Blame. Never actually dropped it. word -s |

Wow, that was a fuckin' wicked night!!! Soda, ya layed it down nicely man!!! It was dope to hear 'call it a day' too.... I really enjoyed Ed Rush and Optical. Their mixing was fuckin' hype, lotsa styles played, a rippin' set all in all. I thought it coulda been a lil louder too, and no ins and outs is wack..
