james brown
i thought i had seen everything and then i saw james brown last night....
first of holy shit awesome venue. it was so intimate, there wasnt a bad seat in the house. we were 7th row, up close and personal. to be honest, i was more so impressed by the band and the music they made. never in my life have i experienced music like that on the spot. couldnt reeally understand much of what james brown was saying inbetween singing, but it really didnt matter. i love seeing people who know how to put on a show. did a little janis tribute as well with some lady that sounded a whole lot like her which rocked for me. his singers HOLY SHIT. all in all an excellent show, totally worth the money to see the look on the boyfriends face at the show. everyone in the venue was up and dancing. strange to be the youngest people in there. |
