I brought a friend of mine from back in the day and he couldn't believe how much fun he was having.

Only thing that sucked? I was there for a total of 1 hr and 45 min (just stopped in to say hi) and it basically cost me $250; lost a $100 custom fitted earplug, and was so distraught by the following hour of searching for it that I also left behind my five-foot mic cable and a black winter jacket.

I agree with you dude. At first I was thinking "no drum n bass.. how long am I going to last?" and then the music just kept getting better - I'm now a funky house fan. Plus someone played some tribal bongo beats; I think I might have been the only one actually dancing through that break. Whoever that was, I fucking loved it.. and I hope more DJs drop in some tribal beats more often, because nothing gets me pumped up like them.

ok.. i take that back. i think its kinda cool they served booze.. KIND OF. (thats what the CLUBS are for, arent they??)
but whats NOT cool are the people who drink way too much and spill their booze over *everything*
and the ones that get obnoxiously drunk and get violent and rude and/or creepy or just stumble around bumping into people who are trying to dance

haha, I heard there was a fight upstairs.. a buddy from edmonton got bled all over. I don't doubt that was from the alcohol (and probably the abundant yeo use, haha). But it happens.. someone's always drunk at a rave, a bar just brought more people to it. I thought the crowd was fucking awesome. I didn't meet one asshole the whole night, and I'm sure it was because they weren't sober with a headache. Not everyone believes in chemicals, babe.
