I'd go if I didn't have a College graduation to go to that night. Plus $75 is kinda over priced for this party, just my opinion. The MLC is no PNE or even Riverside, $75 seems abit pricey. Should be like $50 or something like that, $75 is the price for a PNE party.

What's up with people, and their stupid ass assumption that if a party is BIG it can automatically cost a lot?? Massives like PNE should cost you LESS than what they are, because the break event point is more easily attained, than lets say a Maritime rave, where the break even is 480-500 people,.(capacity is 575 minus staff, and guestlist *strictly enforced, mind u!)?? if break even is so high, the promoters r pretty much only makin money of concession.. so if my calculations r correct, thats what maybe $3000 dollars tops profit for the promoter, for puttin together an event?? **sorry im a business/math geek haha i like to know these things Anyways, the event is sold out except for 1 ticket, first come first serve. PM me. |

Exactly... Just for the record... Evolve isn't in the business of making a profit at raves. In some cases less than what has been quoted above is earned. Even with such high ticket prices... As much money as possible goes into the production of the show. I don't even think we make much at the shows since we spend so much on goddamn lasers,high-end lighting, and visuals so it doesnt look like a shitty high school dance As for PINK, extra additional permits needed to be purchased, therefore raising the ticket price. Plus who else gives everyone that buys a ticket, a free CD?? The cds must cost 4 dollars each to make. Multiply that by 500, and you got $2000 dollars spent on the free cd giveaways alone Last edited by dSl-DuDe; Feb 20, 06 at 06:33 PM. |
