Be prepared for stunning visuals, a truly unique vibe, and DJ line up that’s fit for a festival in Europe. featuring... 4 Strings The 4 Strings Live Tour Spinnin Records / The Netherlands WWW.4STRINGS.NL If you were to take a look into a trance DJ’s record collection, chances are you’ll find countless 4 Strings vinyls. Behind the name 4 Strings hides musicians Carlo Resoort and Jan de Vos. The two have known each other since they were kids and in the early 90’s they became interested in dance music and from that moment on, they started producing their own music Jan met up with Piet Bervoets (Carlos, ROOS and Rank 1). Piet taught him the basics of mixing. After a couple of months, Jan joined a drive-in-show, where he played all kinds of music from R&B, Top 40 to Happy Hardcore. His skills were improving rapidly, and it was during this time period he noticed that his main interest was in dance music. After winning a first place prize in a DJ contest, he was offered his very own residency. Carlo Resoort started with dance music in 1994, and soon after that he had his first release. After a couple of releases he had his first major breakthrough: "Carlos - the silmarilla", produced together with Piet Bervoets of Rank 1. Two years later he had another hit with "Turn it around". Around this same time, a new record company was born, "Spinnin Records". Shortly thereafter Carlo signed his first record deal and 4 Strings was born. The duo has had numerous smash hits like “Daytime”, “Into The Night” and of course “Take Me Away” which is still recognized as one of the best classic worldwide anthems. In 2005, 4 Strings released "Sunrise", which was the theme of the number one dance music festival in Poland also called Sunrise. The touring diary looks incredibly hectic for them in 2006, with regular stops at major venues around the world.USA, Australia, Mexico, Poland, Asia and Holland just to name a few. 2006 is proving to be a massive year with the release of their brand new track "Hurricane" and also having played at Holland’s leading trance party "Trance Energy" this February. Summer 2006 is the first ever unique "4 Strings Live Tour" worldwide, following the release of their new album this year. Vancouver, get ready for what will be without a doubt, one of the most talked about trance set of the year! Sander Van Doorn aka Sam Sharp / SVD Oxygen / Spinnin Records / Most Wanted / The Netherlands WWW.SANDERVANDOORN.NL Sander Van Doorn is a DJ/Producer in a league of his own. With production alias such as Sam Sharp, Purple Haze and Sandler, he has grafted for years, but his time has come, his time is now. Everything Sander does is watched with bated breath. Every single one of his original productions such as club anthems like “AKA” “Dark Roast” “Bling Bling” “Adrenaline” “Eden/Rush” “Hoover/Craft” and “Error” are supported by the godfathers of dance that include Paul Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, John Digweed, Ferry Corsten, Marco V, Tiesto and the list goes on…. The one record that turned all the attention onto Sander was his rework or The Police “Message in a bottle”. From a limited number of CDR’s for the A-list DJ’s titled “TBA - SOS” this rework became one of the biggest Trance productions of 2005, a huge festival track and a euphoric club anthem. This rework became an official remix on the Filterfunk pack that hit #1 in dance charts throughout Europe where it stayed for almost a month! His remixes have gained the same recognition, remixing in the past for the likes of Robbie Rivera, Matt Darey, Randy Katana and Blank & Jones to latest remixes of TDR “Squelch” to the monster Armin Van Burren “Control Freek”. 2005 was the year when Sander took his deck wizardry and unique versatile sound to UK clubs such as Turnmills, Godskitchen, Slinky and Inside Out. He was tried, tested and verified as the man to watch in 2006. Not only was Sander tipped by the clubbers but Armin Van Burren had Sander as his choice of “Breakthrough DJ of 2006” in the prestigious Top 100 DJ Mag issue. We’re now into 2006 and Sander Van Doorn’s diary reads like the departure board at LAX. He is back at the aforementioned clubs throughout 2006 and is featured as a main arena DJ at summer festivals world-wide such as Dance Valley, Gigidance and all of Godskitchen’s Festivals, Global Gathering, HI-Fi & Escape into the park, with PVD, Armin, Tiesto, Ferry Corsten and Marco V. As a company we pride our production on bringing you quality DJ’s and this is an example of just that.
