Thats why different "markets" have diff loyalty numbers. And it is affected by radio play and the numbers fluctuate with the amount of promotion done for the project (in this case Darude's music) Which in part gets coupled with Royalties, that bring in the money flow from radio plays, promotional advertisement, record/album sales etc... now that i clearned up my quick typing and misuse of the word "loyalties" ....have fun at Darude... |

hahaha okay there... keep telling youself that.
Heres an example... from a checked source with QUITE the discography, you may PM me to argue this. I was told; The company that supplies the contracts for a station... asks a radio station to play it (if they already have artists from the company roster)... if they (the station) refuse to play it within the quota the company proposes... the company can/will be forced to remove all artists that are being played on the radio already on the roster and will move the song liscences to an opposing station that will... making the NEW MUSIC station NOT SO NEW. As for the paying for each song play theory, Im not sure on how it works... but I know it happens... thats how song writers make their living from tracks that STILL get played from the 70's. 80's and 90's. |
