John Askew- UK (Ministry Of Sound/ Cream/ Discover)
Saturday, May 6th 2006
John Askew- UK www.djjohnaskew.com (Ministry Of Sound/ Cream/ Discover/ Discover Dark) John Askew is without doubt one of the hottest tech/trance producer/djs in the UK, if not the world, right now. After the huge successes of his debut singles “Vellum”, “The Door” and “New Dimension”, he has gone on to deliver release after release of consistently high quality club music - either through his own Discover/Discover Dark record labels, or via one of his many remixes for high profile labels such as Ministry of Sound, Euphonic, Armin van Buuren's Captivating, or Paul van Dyk’s legendary Vandit. From guest appearances on BBC Radio One, to exclusive residencies at 3 of the World’s most influential clubs (The Gallery, Cream and Ministry of Sound) to an ever increasing number of high profile guest slots around the world, John Askew is now enjoying the rewards of over a decade of consistently hard work. Today, John continues to A&R Discover and has just finished releasing his highly acclaimed debut artist album,?“Lower The Tone” : 3 CD's of unmixed singles, live DJ mix and bonus cd of assorted mayhem.?With artists such John O'Callaghan, Arc In The Sky, Greg Downey, Sean Tyas, and John himself, Discover is recognized as the highest quality output for harder edged dance music and a true reflection of what to expect from a John Askew dj set. with...
