The rub was really good. Alot of the shit they did was on the fly but alot of the stuff they played was prerecorded party breaks which im not a huge fan of. When you see djs like the scratch piklz, exucutioners, z trip, relm all come in and do similar things but 20 times better its hard to appreciate guys like this. I'm not one to critique though everyone was enjoying themselves and it was only ten dollars.

Stopped by for a few minutes just before things started getting warmed... way to tired to stay but was lookin like it had some potential. Plus I didn't get the memo about it being ball-cap to the side night so I felt just plain awkward :P

i couldnt make it . but heard ATRAK tore plaza a new hole..
saw him at plush a year ago ... his party rock was dope .. but the DMC routines he did were out of this world.. I still say him and I-Emerge should battle. Also heard good things about the RUb ... damn weekday shows |

a-trak asked me to post this:
“Fellow Canadians! We had a ball at our Vancouver show last night. It's my favorite Vancouver show in a mucho long time. Thanks to everyone that came out. My mission on this tour is to take turntablism to a party vibe and put on a show where people really have fun and dance, and I'm glad it's been coming across. Big shout out to Lalla, Carlo and G-man & Rizk. Special thanks to Ron Burgundy.” |
