Good show i'm glad i went that was my first time at the tokyo lounge going there now makes me wish i had gone there when that was the venue for blue. Dj Rap played some dope tracks i especially liked the coldplay remix she started with and the Nirvana remix. Also ran into an old friend from elementary school that we hadn't seen in years that was cool. |

Thanks to everyone that came out!
RAP definitely played a sick set. Different from her last two at Sonar... good to hear a big range of tunes from dirty beats, to massive funky and classics. The intimate shows at Tokyo Lounge definitely make it alot more fun for both the dj and crowd Next up: One of the most important figures in House and Techno music... KEVIN SAUNDERSON detroit Over 20 years of changing the face of music! Last time here, Aug 2004 @ Vivid... played to over 470 people! + Kyle Nordman & Blaine Saturday July 1: CANADA DAY with Charles Feelgood |

Rap did an awsome job, doing alot better from her last house set. Although the place was packed... I still wish she had a bigger crowed. She did a great job and discribing it as a 'unique set' is exactly what I would call it. She played a wide range of almost everything and moved the crowed up and down. I dont think anyone could be disapointed last night.
Pat understand that as a house DJ you can't realy avoid electro right now. I dont even surch in the electro section and I still come up with 1/3 of my tracks being dirty electro :P Besides she really didnt drop that much. Thanks PH1 and Tom you rock like always :) PS: would anyone have the track ID for her opeing track? |
