I've been to a couple and loved the vibe, sad to see the Dnb night go...

woooah! i was quite suprised to hear about this (almost)....Lotus is where i have spend almost every single tues for the last year and a half and i will definitly miss it sooo much! One of the best club nights i have ever experienced because of the people, the vibe and the amazing musical talent that plays there...and i really wish it wasnt over. Although tuesdays at lotus are done that sure doesnt mean automatic is done! i'm looking forward to what jay and crew will be doin in the future cause i know they will rip it up! dinner with jay dabs @ honey before lotus will be sadly missed! as well as the many many stellas and 2.50 highballs i have consumed!

Thank you jay auto, dabbler, matty, soda, myster e mc, and crew for many good nights and great music

Low numbers over the last year or so really sealed the deal for the end of the night. Plus its time really. I mean Jay is not all that into spinning DnB anymore, he prefers to play funk, rock, soul, or what I call "Boogaloo". Matty & Jay are starting a new Friday night weekly that will be everything but DnB basically. Dana D is going to be a resident alongside the boys. Will be a wicked night.
You can be damn sured that Automatic will still be the leader in drum n bass special events in the city. Look for our annual Halloween bash at the Lotus once again this year. As well as the return of some Vancouver favs (can't say whom just yet).
With Future Roots, Rype, Ruff House all poppin' up over the last little while there will still be much to do with DnB in the city. Fixed Fridays is still going as a weekly, and who knows.... maybe we'll get involved in a new weekly ourselves!?
