Props Josh and Kristine... everything was set up super well and looked awesome. Those big screens totally set it all off and I liked how the mainstages had shark energy tents over them.
Security was a different story lol... fuckin assholes.
David Garibaldi did an awesome job once again... seemed like a really nice guy.

On the way home some kittens ran across the road and one got hit and was still alive... fuckin so sad :( it had to be put outta its misery it was in total shock. What a way to end a good night otherwise.

It was awesome! Wicked sound setups - almost all stages were really loud and clear. David Garibaldi was also amazing... it was so much fun watching him make those live paintings.

The only thing that I didn't like was the guy to girl ratio. It WAS a cock farm there. Oh and how most of the stages didn't have their lineups posted... that wasn't cool either.

I went to see reid speed,who played an amazing set and than was forced off stage by the promoter
who than told her she was not getting paid
than she got forced out bu security WHO WOULD NOT even let her get her records.


what is that shit.
you fly a dj out here to play your party and then force them off stage than you dont pay,have them removed FORCEFULLY from the premisis.
not allowing the artist you YOU hired to make you money
to get her records.
Oh yeah and you provide broken equipment to play on.

way to go silverwaters. good music all night, i couldn't find a stage that i didn't enjoy. the headliners that i saw all spun dope sets.... especially capital J and the autobots. the whole night reminded me of raves like 5 years ago. i wish i wore different shoes cuz my DCs got trashed so bad, im glad i didn't miss this one, even though i wasn't going to miss it, but ya it was defenitly worth my 45 bucks. i met so many new people and it was ncie to see some people i havent seen for a while. haha only annoying thing is 90 percent of people i talked to asked me when i was spinning and i had to explain i think im the only dj in vancouver that isn't spinning tonight. anyways, all good, had a great time. thanks josh and kristine!

After a day at the Redbull Flutag and Summer Break... im drained!
Must give a shoutout to MX, thanks for having me on the stage, had a dope time in the beggining only to discover that me and my friend had a later slot on the Union Main Stage to fill... that wait/tiredness was well worth the wait.
Danny Taylor did an excellent job gathering a crowd followed by Montana and Res.
All the stages were nice... David Garibaldi put on one hell of a show.
Hirshee and Jeff... haha this is not miami.. that sums up the night...AGAIN!!
Must get some sleep.. had on LONG ass day and night.
As for the dancers, ONE girl I was disappointed with the display and attitude towards the other dancers... whom I will leave nameless.
I hope you girls all got paid for some of the shit you had to go through (haha well I heard a few stories... so yeh ill just base it on that)
The show was fun... well worth the 45min trek on the highway.

don't be surprised if your going to start hearing more stories based on other headliners.... word is out directly with strong associates with uk apache that it wasn't an incident where he couldn't get a plane ticket.... its the fact of the matter that he doesn't want ANYTHING to do with the promoter thus being silverwaters. Someone's gonna need to come clean and have an explanation on seriously wtf has happened. Cause the shit that went down with reid speed..... she has obvious contacts within the industry. Word will go around.... alot of artists won't attempt to come to vancouver for a while... But seriously as a ticket holder and someone who has been attending many shows from silverwaters. organization wise, i was disappointed. last year's summer break way hundred times better. stages were set up in a weird way, half werent getting any traffic because they were either turned or located so that people didnt realize they were stages, and sound from other stages was spilling over cause they were so close together

music was great, even though not everyone who was supposed to play was there. props to all the DJs, you guys kept the party going. too bad there weren't many people at the focus stage for way out west :(

oh and 5 portapotties for the whole damn party! that was just wrong

i was totally not expecting to have that much fun last night. pretty good set-up...although i agree with the comment about some stages not being noticed and them being too close together. they could have spread them out a bit more for sure. sound was better than i thought it would be. those blow up shark things are pretty cool.

didn't think the timeslots/talent was managed very well though. malente played for half an hour less than was posted, and then i specifically waited up until 4am to hear jody wisternoff...and he wasn't there! fun!

i still had a good time, but i wouldn't have stayed that late if i knew that jody wasn't going to be there. thank god for energy drinks.

all in all, it was a good night, even with the disappointments about malente and jody.

Reid Speed was fucking amazing.

Ollie ple vs Jeff Daniels was also a highlight of the night.
