Thinking Too Much = Can't sleep

Excatly what the title says. It sucks! Your body is so tired yet your mind is still awake and you can't stop thinking about things. :(

Any remidies?(sp?)

When that happens, I try and do something calming and drink tea or something warm so that all my senses are calm, or I write down what's bugging me and get it on another source besides inside my head. It sucks but during the day try going for a walk so that you're extra tired for bed.... getting enough exercise and such is critical to having a relaly good sleep

*try drinking camomile tea before bed
*burn lavender incense or oil ... u can also try dabbing a little bit of the oil on your temples
*take a hot bath (again with lavender oil if you like)
*read (usually puts me to sleep)

and if none of these work .. like everyone else said... weed usually does the trick but i find it makes u wake up with a headache.. or "pot hang over" as i like to call it.... or u could try some red wine.... but same deal-hangover.

bascially u want to do something that helps u unwind... if your trying to go to bed right after doing something... ur mind is usually still going... take like an hour before bed for yourself to relax and unwind from the day...i thought i was an insomniac for the longest time, but i realized i was trying to go to bed too quickly after a long stressful day when my mind was still racing... now i can get to bed no problems.

it can deffinatly help balance and make things more more positive for people... clearing alot of negative energy away can be somewhat of a challange...

get really baked about 2-4 hours before you plan on going to sleep.
works like a charm.

Any earlier than about 1.5 hours, you'll find it more difficult to go to sleep from pot because the buzz makes people think.

Works for me all the time anyways. Best in the summer if it gets too hot and I cant sleep. Or for when Im having problems sleeping in general.

I don't like blazing that often, makes me feel dumb and i get the munchies like a mother fucker....and thanks nabbers but it was like almost 3am i don't like calling and bothering people just cuz i cant sleep :P

I couldnt do the pot head thing again. But I still enjoy a joint from time to time. All in moderation

honestly if you're already in bed and cant sleep just try to focus on black..
black nothing. hear nothing. just take a deep breath and try to focus on a completely black atmosphere with no sound. it works. trust me.
