I was looking at employment ads in WestEnder tonight while I ate my sushi.

Made me reeeally reaaaally O RLY glad that I'm not job hunting anymore.

Anyone want to start an exciting new career as a Hygiene Technician?.. *coughJANITORcough*

Or the ads that don't even say what the fuck the job is? Just things like "Flexible F/T and P/T hours available" and "commissions and bonuses!"

One of my friends said that when she put her resume up on Monster she got more responses than she knew what to do with.

I'm updating the resume and putting it up tomorrow.

ya, its nice to post your resume on a bunch of websites, then you have lots of responses. it is definitely worth it. :)

Ya as long as you have it set for public view so anyone can see it. Alot of times you will get called over and over from different companies.

I will vouch for that too.

Prefer the ol fashioned way though. At least you know what your getting into.

^ There are so many parallels between getting a job and getting a girl that it's ridiculous.

Like how when you first start out, you're all tentative and really concerned about making a good impression.. but after a few months you settle in and you're a lot more comfortable.. and you start taking it for granted... until one day your job/girl needs to have a talk with you, and you're FIRED.

Or how, if you can't find something long term, you might just go for just a temporary position... but in the end, it won't amount to much and will probably just leave you feeling cheated.

Dates = interviews.

Etc etc etc, I could go on.
