10 months & $3, 000 later

In about 42 and a half hours from now I get to go to court, being charged with assault even though I didn't do anything. All this crap cost me and my buddy $3, 000 and a whole lot of stress. Now, I get to find out what the judge will say, this is such bullshit, there are no medical records of injuries and the story has so many holes in it, like its all made up, so many lies and bullshit. The guy even admits in the police report that he hit my buddy and that his brother hit me with a sword and me and my buddy are getting charged with assault what kind of bs is that? What's worse is I used to be friends with this chump, then he goes and stabs me in the back and makes some bullshit story up to the cops that he got assaulted, fucken bullshit. Now I'm out $3, 000 and have to deal with all the stress about going to court. I better win this bullshit trail, I don't want a criminal record/probation for a crime I didn't commit. "YOU RAT BASTARD!!!!!!!!"

The guy Matt, 22 in the article, is talking to a cop and pulls out a cap in front of him and tells him he is a rave expert, lol. First of all why did he not get arrested or thrown out of the rave? Another thing Matt is the guy accussing me of assault and I'm going to court for it tomorrow. I'm sure my lawyer and the judge will love to read this article tomorrow in court! Infront of Matt's parent's, its like hey your son's a druggie, oh man that will make my day, fucken sweet!!!!!!! A Rave Expert hahaha more like a retard!

Just cause the kid does drugs the judge wont care
said as it is, he isnt getting charged you are. You probally do drugs to move on. Sucks that this is happening but you m ust have done something, even if its not as bad as he says i honestly dont believe you did nothing

Yeah I didn't do nothing, but not what he says. He made stuff up to look like a victim infront of the cops when really this thing didn't need to go this far. Like we used to be friends before. It all happened because of a brawl that took place in Pitt Meadows at a bon fire. Some chumps showed up and decided to crash the party, so a big brawl started and some people beleive that Matt stabbed one of my friend's in the back (but there is no actual proof, just theory). Since then a bunch of drama started and all that lead up to this so called assault incident.
I'm sure it could of all been settled over a few drinks, it didn't need to escalate into what it did. Friend's shouldn't let shit get way out of hand, they should settle it like grown men, the whole situation was handled the wrong way. Then again friend's shouldn't charge their old friends with assault and go to the cops. Reminds me of the song "Snitch - Obie Trice ft. Akon".

lol wow you guys are pretty harsh on this guy. some people just lead a certain lifestyle and shit happens. a lot of you don't go out partyin with big groups of people at potentially sketchy parties. I can relate to what he's saying, sometimes at big outdoor parties or whatever, certain peeps can show up and fights start and bad shit happens. whenever these things happen it's not like you should go get a friggin lawyer and be a fake snitch trying to get compensation. it's called voluntary assumption of risk, if buddy didn't wanna get into a fight, he shouldn't have been at the bonfire with ppl he'd potentially break out in fight with and get himself injured. I figure as long as there's no proof of injury or doctor examination, he won't really have shit. wasting money on lawyers is big $$, Ive been there unfortunately.. barely got outta debt from that recently. depends on how much connection ur lawyer has w/ the judge for the outcome .. hopefully you aren't stuck with some random lawyer.
maybe each side of the story has a different light, it's hard to tell.

If you really didn't do anything like you claim then I wouldn't worry about it.
Judges aren't dumb and by the sounds of this 'Matt' character he'll be put in his place. Countersue for the money you had to spend on your lawyer. G'Luck
