Sounds like they dicked you around, usually you can tell when they pussyfoot around the subject whenever you ask about it and keep putting it forward every time they set up to sign you on. Most companies are professional enough to do something when they say they will, and if they don't then chances are they are trying to string you along for their own benefits. but like Sam said, think of this as good experience and now you qualify for other office jobs elsewhere. Usually with office jobs when you start out in that field without going to school for clerical work, it's hard to find one that is steady/full time/ legit so I'm not surprise reading this, they do it because they can hire someone less qualified for cheaper wages and then get rid of them and hire another less experienced person and so on ... you just have to keep looking and keeping your eyes wide open and something good will pop up eventually.

Yea, I noticed I'd added an extra o after I posted the thread, didn't really care fnk grammar isn't too important at the moment. Im more worried about job hunting.
I didn't know from the beginning they wouldn't be keeping me but once they started fucking around I started looking for a new job anyways, but wasn't going to leave without having a replacement job. I’m obviously not happy about yet again being out of work, but a few good things do come from this. I got some experience and it'll help that much more in looking for a new job, and, my dad is having surgery on the 3rd of Jan so no I can be home to help him out for the first week and shit. |
