robbed this christmas :(

the eve of christmas eve in the early morning my apartment was broken into.

it could have been a lot worse, as they opted not to take some of the electronics (tables, stereo, computers etc) - though they did unplug them so i imagine that was in the original plan...

but they got a few little items as well as a small amount of money from my roomate and every cent of my recently cashed paycheque leaving me unable to pay rent, bills, or buy ANY gifts this year.

It is. Not just for robberies, but also for people trying to break into cars. Its much worse during the christmas break. For thieves and such its a busy time...

yeah this time of year is really bad for stuff like this.

My family was robbed on Christmas Eve one year... since then, I get scared every year and am very cautious about the doors/windows being open.

^ He lives on the first floor of his building, and the windows are pretty much ground level.
And, as far as I know, he came home while they were still there and took off.

I know people that leave their apartment doors unlocked because their building is secured and they are on a higher floor. I've been telling them lately that even people in their building or their friends should not be trusted like that.

There have been many robberies on higher floors. = ( get home insurance.

Fuking ridiculous that people would steal around christmas time. No Fucking Morals.

Some people are just beyond help... And often consider money more valuable then trustworthy friends and family...

Its ridiculous the number of christmas robberies that have occured..... I think people who steal around XMAS should get tougher sentencing for being grinches.

It almost says something about society in general, the fact that people are so desperate for money that they will jack up a person at a time when money is needed.....

Owell hope you get some of it back somehow, if you dont have insurance tho i dunno GL and Hopefully they catch the bastard.. or he gets hit by a car

Shit, i now how much it sucks. i got robbed, but it was before the holidays and it wasn't anything like losing a paycheck, but it sure did suck.

The things people will do to feed their drug addictions or god knows what else. Sucks to know there are real grinchs out there in the world.
