The quote "nothing lasts forever comes to mind" after vising Science World just the other day.

That place is falling apart after all these years. About half of the free games/attractions have a "THIS ATTRACTION IS CURRENTLY BEING REPAIRED" sign on them and all of those mechanical things that are on the ceiling are not working (or they have turned them off). Some of those special rooms in the building are also "turned off" and none of the attractions in those rooms work.

They were running one and half hours behind for the Body Worlds 3 exhibition that was scheduled for our time on the tickets, so we decided to catch an OMNIMAX movie while we were waiting for them to start lining up the next show. What do you know - we waited half an hour for the OMNIMAX movie to start when they announced that they were experiencing "technical difficulties" and had to cancel the show.

We finally get into Body Worlds and have a good time...

But I feel bad for Science World that it's not as great as it was when I first visited it back in '99.

Ive sparaticly been to science world every couple of years... most recently this summer which was the biggest change since. They have re done and created a lot of new things... I think you just went on a bad day or are focusing on the bad things. I mean Jan must be one of there quietest seasons, so it would only make sence for them to work on things now.

sure science world is great. if you like interesting facts about science.
it's definatly something you should check out as well as :
-The planetarium
-lucas center's emily car studios
-and the museum on native culture just off georgia and hornbee

science world was AMAZING when i was in grade 5 in 1993 and went there for a feild trip.

i went there recently for bodyworlds.....it sucked ASS!!!!...

its only feature of redemtion was that it still has that hollowed out tree.

I forget what official title I have, but I kick over a hundred bucks to them every year. Please support the Vancouver Aquarium :) New exhibit was just opened not too long ago, too.

last time i went to science world i was high on 10 hits of lsd 5 years ago.

i spent 2 hours looking at that exhibit in front of the main entrance.

Im glad they're maintaining the Science Center in Toronto....Their exhibitions are constantly upgraded and very few are left under repair....

near future plans:
Get super baked and hit the Science Centre with the man....Makes for good fun!
