Roomates
Living with friends is Fucking hard. Because there is that line between friends and roomates. Last night i had to basically hold back from punching my roomate. Now i may not be the biggest guy, and he is much bigger then me and yes it sounds stupid but theres a fine line you dont cross regarding friends and roomates. Little jabs are nice here and there, but dont bring up personal shit. Leave that shit out.
The thing is i have so much more on him then he does at me and i so coulda easily won the argument, but i bit my lip, been the bigger man as people would say. Now this morning i woke up with a headache and swollen hand, and the fucker wont even apologize to me when everyone knows im in the right. Its true what they say, living with friends isnt the smartest thing to do sometimes. |

Becoming roomies with a friend is tough... it can totally ruin a friendship if you're not careful. When I got my first roomie it was a guy I knew but not a guy I was friends with. We basically built our friendship while being roommates.
He's my best friend hands down now.... |

My current roommate is one of my best friends...It's weird we used to live together and had a blast then she moved out with her girlfriend at the time and I moved in with my friend and now as of the beginning of last month I am officially her roommate again and it is awesome!!! Not only that but we are gonna be leaving the country together in about 10 months!! Dope!!!

I lived with my best friend for a year and a half and things didnt end well, we didnt talk for the last two months we lived together and for about 6 months after but things are good now we just needed a break. And then I lived with 4 of my guy friends and that was weird but really fun. I have to say that the bathroom was pretty gross, and there was a lot of poker but no animosity and no stupid fights that you get with girls.

It's a hit or miss situation.
One of my best friends and I moved into an apartment together straight out of highschool. The first 3 months were awesome..but after that there became quite a bit of tension. People have to respect your space and thats something she didnt do. Her boyfriend would be over every night - eating all of our food. And I would wake up EVERY MORNING to him pissing and farting in the bathroom (which was right beside my bedroom, and he always left the door open) When I finally had enough, I gave my months notice and moved out. She felt betrayed that I moved out and she was stuck with the whole rent for a month, but I gave her sufficient time. It ruined our friendship. I havent spoken to her in almost 3 years. =) I lived with my other bestfriend twice and it was great. We even shared a room in one place. We live perfectly together. I honestly think its harder living with family members. My boyfriend is the best roomate ever. He makes me dinner every night!! I hope it all works out for you!! |

It was the boyfriend being over all the time that made me loose it too! (that and dishes) he was over all the time, the had sex in the shower everymorning and woke me up. Also he was 2 years younger and him and his friends weren't 19 so they used to drink at my house all the time and were really annoying so I couldnt stand them at all! UGH |
