Hayfever - Spring Time Allergies!
oh my gaaaawd!
stop it! make them go away... red itchy eyes, itchy throats, runny nose, sneeeeezing uncontrollably... omg. hate them! hate them! hate them! and benadryl totally knocks me out. i can actually fall asleep standing up off a benadryl... does anyone else share my pain? what do u take to control your symptoms? |

yes.... i fuckin hate it... i started getting symptoms early last week
colds in the fall+winter. allergies in the spring + summer. I try to stay away from the meds because they make me feel kinda tripped out.. I just drink lots of water, or splash some on my face/eyes when it gets itchy/irritated. And if i feel my eyes beginning to itch, i try my best not to scratch it because scratching just makes it worse. |

dont even get me started on allergies.... i have to switch to a different brand of allergy pills every year cause they usually stop working after a bit... and i basically walk around like a stoner for the allergy season cause those pills f me up... i never had allergies when i was younger... i only developed them mabie over the past 5 years...i really hope i grow out of them....

exactly... i wasnt born with them either.. u just kind of develope them, unfortunately i doubt its like a phase, you wont grow out of them. but apparently there are certain vitamins and minerals your body can use more off to fight them from getting worse (kinda like glasses) |

Grapes - Dont waste your time on allergy testing.. I've done it THREE times with no such luck.
I am practically dead for six weeks (april/may) I missed over two weeks of work last year because I could hardly open my eyes. So swollen. And all of those allergy medicines fuck you up. This year im just not leaving my house. |

apparently your body develops and loses allergies every 6-8 years, so yes you can grow out of them
i used to have extremely bad hay fever but then i got allergy shots and most of the symptoms are gone now. getting the shots is not a waste of time and money, just make sure you get tested properly because they formulate the shot based on your test results also, if you are deciding to get allergy shots you're going to have to still suffer through this season because shots need to begin AFTER your allergy season |

I must of sneezed like over 100 times today (no joke) my record was 6 sneezes in a row, its freakin' insane, argh!! Had red eyes all day and my nose has been runny all day. Last year Reactin worked for me, I didn't get any meds yet. I hate the rain, but during the rain I'm fine, but once it stops raining, all the allergies start acting up.
I'm gonna get some Reactin tomorrow and hopefully it helps my allergies. I know rubiing your eyes only makes it worse, but sometimes it so bad that you get so mad that you rub them anyways, feels like you're about to scratch your eyes or something. ALLERGIES SUCK. |
