Cops and Breaking Down Parties
K, last night Kick-It got broken down at 4:30am. I was a little pissed cuz the party was going great. When we arrived you couldn't even hear the music. It was nicely blocked from the public.
First off, i want to know why the RCMP would break up a party @ 4:30 when a large marjority of people can't get home yet cuz they take transit. Skytrains dont run till aroudn 7. I dont know this boggles my mind. Wouldn't they rather have [people in a house till transit is avaible rather than people on drugs romaing the streets.

lets say a drunk guy stood in the middle of your street with his friends and started banging on pots and pans. when you phone the police they say 'oh sorry, we can't send them home, they're too drunk to drive and transit isn't running, just put up with them until 6am.
i think the cops last night were incredibly understanding, and i personally gave them kudos to how they handled the situation throughout the night.

I was impressed that the cops allowed it to go on that long, considering there was an undercover cop car circling around the sky train station where the shuttle was, and cops lurking around the venue itself and talking to people. The rumour going around was that they were allowed to keep going til 2, so 4 30 isn't too shabby at all.

at least it went that long...
sorry i missed it guys...i was soooooo tired and ended crashing from 10-5am. i was planning on waking up at 12:00 but my body didn't like the idea. I woke up, looked at the clock and cursed.... it was 5am and i was still home... Boo to the sandman getting me...:( kimmie was also upset :(
