I know there pointless, I don't know what parents think there doing tryin to even use these rules at all especially us being at this age. Like for example, my parents tryin to tell me I'm grounded or not goin out one night, but I've been out every night for tha past year and a half. I'm the one who decides wehther or not I'm goin out. Or tryin to tell me that if I don't come home early the night before work I'm in big trouble, like what tha fuck, if I missed work at all its my fault and loss. Damn parents still treatin you like your still 8 or somethin.

so why not do some thing about it? honestly, i know it's annoying following rules, but you guys should honestly be happy your parents care enough about you to set rules. after all, they do it because they want you to turn out well. i've had some friends with real low life loser parents, and that's how it seems they are going to turn out too.

any ways, if you've thought about it, make it happen. moving out isn't at easy as it seems unless you have a good job, that you know you can keep. moving out with friends can save you some money, but some times it turns into a flop house sort of arrangement, which i could not personally stand.

Your parents are just watching out for you...they are some of the only people that you can really count on for most of your life (usually). Right now you're getting a free ride, no rent to bother with, no stress of health and dental care, no phone bills, electric bills, hydrobills...I bet you get free food too.

So why are you bitching!? You're parents rules may seem irrational to you but they aren't trying to make your life terrible, they're just trying to be the best parent they can be.

As corny as this all sounds...you would probably be pretty damn upset if they weren't around. So appreciate everything they're doing for you or move out.

Like they say.. as long as u live under they're roof blah blah blah... not your house , not your rules. Respect them. They pay the bills, most likely buy the groceries you have been feeding off of for MANY years, and they deserve the right to have a set of rules for you to follow. askn u to be home at a resonable time, or to clean up after your pig ass selves, or to keep ur music turned down , and so on are completely resonable requests considering they have to share a home with you while they pay the bills.

I know what your all sayin, I've thought about it soo many times. My parents give me a place to stay, electricity, food, water, everytrhing a household carries. Although I just turned 18 I still pay a bit of rent for that shit and have been for a bit. I got no problem with it cause I respect tha fact that what their giving me and what they have given me is worth so much more. I have to bills to pay: my insurance and cell phone bills, I got those covered. When ever I go out to have a good time, which has been every night for tha past year and a half whether its just chillin or partyin it up, I pay my for my own shit and whatever I wanna do. I respect their rules and chores they set for me but its not so much that anywayz. Its tha fact that they can't let go of certain things of me bein a teenager, and its been goin on for a while and you think they'd get used to it. All they do is talk and complain but don't do anything about it, but on tha other hand they also don't seem too concerned cause they know I work full-time and support myself for tha most part. I don't see what the big deal is....

Its like for example, one day they'll be real nice to me and don't care what I do at night. But other days for no reason they'll complain about me goin out and all this shit and bring up stuff that they usually have no problem with.

I sometimes think their just pullin some shit to set an example for my younger brother and sister which is probably true. But everyday I do tha same stuff whether it be work or soccer or laundry....anything, some days their fine and others their weird.

It doesn't make sense to me.
