I treat it right. I feed it gas. I wash it (when it needs it). I do everything for it...and it loses it's *beep beep*. yes. that's right. My car has no horn left. The horn is dead.

To you city folk that would be a great idea. however, I live in aldergrove and bus service out here is CRAP and it takes 3 hours just to get into vancouver.

Otherwise I would. I have gone through the whole crappy aldergrove transit though. Up until last september I had no wheels.

my car is bullet proof.

the timing belt went the other day, but that's the only real issue i've had with it. and that was just from normal wear and tear. it's just a piece of rubber that largely has nothing to do with the engine in terms of quality.

i can't wait to hit 300 000 miles. :)

holy shit. sell it for parts and get a toyota tercel, circa 85-87.

good on gas, needs little maintenance, cheap to buy (you could probably get one for about 750 in good shape) and it'll last you forever.

Nah. I won't be getting a toyota tercel...

I'll be getting myself a nice lil honda civic hatchback. Probably a 95. That won't be for a while though :(.
