extremely bad profs

WHAT THE FUUUUUCK???!!!

ok.... the heuristic I usually follow is if the teacher is good, his/her exams are usually hard as hell. if the teacher is bad, his/her exams are usually damn easy..

but NOOOOOO! I've got the worse combination in that my prof is pathetic.

he makes no sense in lectures. you can literally see the whole class falling asleep. he's boring, monotonous and doesn't stick to the material. even our lecture notes are impossible to follow. it's a bio psych course and he goes onto to talk about biophysics, histochemistry and other stuff that won't be on the exam for our "general information" when he should really be talking about what the fuck is going to be on the exam!! I mean... it might be interesting for science students... BUT WE'RE FUCKING ARTS STUDENTS!!!!!!! WE DOOOON'T CAAAAAAAAAAARE!!!!!!!!!!!! :finger:

plus, he's unreasonable as hell. one of the questions was: in what way has neuroscience improved through technological advances. this question is out of one mark.. ONE MARK ON A QUESTON I COULD WRITE A WHOLE ESSAY ON!!!! he expected 2 answers. if you didn't get those exact 2 answers, you don't get the mark.

and my exam is supposed to be fucking HARD..... he told us to expect our midterm to be at the same difficulty level as our quiz, if not harder..

I feel bad for my TA. poor guy has to put up with all the complaining students.... *sigh*

oh fuck.. I don't even know why I bother studying for this course.... :hurt:

we have a new prof for earth ocean sciences and the guy puts up these crazy diagrams on the overheads which only PHDs can fuckin understand and goes through about 20 of them a class.... spending about 40 seconds on each.... makes no sense at all. lately nobodys been going to class since you dont learn shit unless you're a born rocket scientist and we have a midterm coming up next week... which i'm pretty choked about

its funny because alot of the time he says "oh you don't need to know this material but i'll tell you anyways" and goes off about some CRAZY physics formulas n shiet... damn i wish i could get a fuckin pipe and smoke that motherfucker

i hate ubc. its like doing the highschool life ALL over again except the material is HARDCORE! no wonder 30% of the first year students got kicked out last year.
