am I outta line?

While me and Vince were together, he wanted this 43" tv..but couldnt get it b/c he had bad credit, so i was dumb and bought it under my name for him, and he has been doing the monthly payments on it for the last 5 months. And I am getting a consolidation loan at the end of the month to pay off my debts, and the rest of the owing on that tv is part of that loan.
So we have this 43" tv...and i told him this last night:

I told vince last night when I got home that with the TV....he is not going to get it untill its completely paid for.
And then he said he wants to give me $800 bucks within the next couple weeks, then give me post-dated cheques for
the rest of it. I said yes give me any money u have so i can put it down on the tv, but I am not going to accept your post-dated
cheques b/c u haven't proven to me that you can pay me back on time in the past, and I sure as hell won't take post-dated cheques from you! ..HOW COME? because, i dont want too and thats that.
If u want the tv, your going to have to live without untill u have paid for it, u have to understand that this is an investment of mine, 2900 dollars of MY money
into this tv, and I want to make sure that its protected. He got all defensive and started saying im going to fuck him for his tv blah
blah blah...and i said VINCE....you OWE me 2900 dollars for this thing...im NOT letting YOU take it untill its completely paid off
and of course YOu would think that im fucking u...but im not..im just protecting my money.

I dont think its that big a deal do you? or am i way outta line???
Now he doesnt want the tv, b/c he doesnt want to pay for something he doesnt have...and i just said..well that'll just make u
pay me back the money that much faster so the tv can be all yours, and you can have it when you've finished paying me, and hes just like WHATEVER , I don't want it now..blah blah.

Goddamnit..u can't win with this boi...im just out to fuck him ..yada yada.

yup. what diva says. He doesn't own the tv until it's fully paid for, and it won't help you to give him the tv before it's paid for because you might never see the money again.

and then you'd have to take him to people's court. :)

Yes that is why Im telling him that he won't get it untill hes paid for ALL of it...not just $500 of it.
