Baby talk.

I've been stuck on a couch at my parents' house for two days on doctor's orders (plus some very heavy duty painkillers) and in between loops I have to put up with family all around admiring my aunt's new baby talking like Donald Duck before he hit the bottle.

Why the fuck do people think babies enjoy this? If anything.. wouldn't they benefit from, oh.. I don't know.. a fucking conversation? I'm going to smoke regardless of kids just so they have to move the mush down the hall.

First off - Smoking in the same room as a a newborn or any child is horrible. Come on. Not even funny to say that.

Secondly - GUILTY AS CHARGED!! I totally baby talk. But not as bad as alot of people. They say you should just talk normally to children but I cant help it. I love squishy little babies!

If kids grew up and immediately started talking sophisticated and having conversations then I could see adults speaking to them normally rather then baby-talking at them. but they don't remember. babies are under developed and under educated. we cater to their interests.
