Handshakes

Is there a good way to detect what people are going to do these days??? Everytime I go out I have to shake someones hand. Some people slap, Some people snap when they're finished, some people do this odd handshake and then they turn it into both hands locking together and even end with a hug. Some people just pound (I'm pretty sure these people are worried about getting germs or something) People from surrey always slap hard and then pound it and most big people jsut go straight for the hug. Do we have to shake hands everytime we see eachother? I'm pretty sure the standard dorky handshake has been around a long time. what was wrong with that one?

I love being the guy that shakes a hand and then leaves the guy hanging on the pound. Usually I just pound or go for the traditional; no need for all those crazy routines.

I mean sure you're meeting someone for the first time and introducing yourself so you shake hands, but then is it really necessary every time you see each other!?

I usually just put out my hand and hope that the other person has a favorite. I am more a fan of the traditional shake, and a hug if i have been into the sauce.

its not necessary , but its a good gesture to those whom you respect.

I hate people that put out a limp hand though. It's like do you expect me to kiss it or something? Just shake it!

I only really handshake clients and older people (like parents friends or high-up people in my company) I've just met. Aquaintances get a verbal greeting and sometimes a hug, friends get massive hugs.

Traditional handshake.

With certain friends that I know have their own 'greeting' handshake, i'll accomodate that. (pound etc)

I HAAAAAATE the clammy wet-noodle handshake. A lot of Girls are guilty of this one.

yeah the weak handshake is terrible it feels like those people don't even want to shake your hand in the first place and seems more or less awkward than anything else

and aside from my customers and buisness....it takes alot for me to shake another persons hand.
