like....
do people really HAVE to use the word "like"as every other word in their sentences?

it's fucking annoying as hell. expand your fucking vocabulary. or better yet, just leave out the damn word!

for example, instead of saying "we should go like shopping and get like gifts and stuff for like our friends!" just fucking say "we should go shopping and get gifts and stuff for our friends!"

geez, is it really that hard? I've literally listened to people talk and counted the number of times they'd say the word "like" in a sentence just out of irritation.

it's a really big, personal pet peeve of mine. am I the only one with this pet peeve???!!

no matter how smart a person seems or really is, I can't help but be annoyed or think somewhat lowly of a person who seriously can't get the word "like" out of their vocabulary.

anyways, I had no idea you were throwing a party... I'll have to see how my lack of funds go. I get paid tomorrow and I'm doing my christmas shopping today and tomorrow. we'll see how much money's left in the good ol account.. :)

It's unintentional.

Those who don't say 'like' say 'uh' or 'um' or something along those lines a lot.

This kind of thing exists in every language.

It takes a lot of practice to not use filler words such as like but it is more effective to comunicate with out those words. People sound unsure when they use those words over and over.
