People who don't know how to park downtown.

There are only so many street parking spots downtown.

when people who don't live in the area park downtown they don't have the common sense to conserve as much room for other people. It CAN BE DONE!

If you see a spot that is larger than your car, park closer to the car infront or behind you! This could make space for a small car in the long run. If you park in the center you're taking up that space!

If you park at the end of a spot (on a corner) push your car's ass or nose slightly past the parking sign. this will make more space as well. Which usually comes in hand when someone parks a bike between the cars.

People who park in permit zones are really screwing the people without permits. why? because the people with permits that can't find a permit parking spot will park in the 2hr zone for WAY longer than a person who's only there for dinner.

Just to be clear, this is caused by a high volume of people moving in and out of spots. Not by people not parking close to each other.

Think about it, your next to a truck, it pulls out, and a normal car moves in, and it looks like a large gap was left between cars.

That or parking that is past 7am in the morning. If im staying over I do not want to move my car at 7 am - nor does the person im staying with

I think there is a really serious lack of parking as a whole downtown, especially in the West End for people that do not have permits. Sort of sucks when you don't have visitor parking for more than 15 minutes for your building especially.

I got monthly underground too. But it's near Harbor Center, so it's only good for work and gastown area clubs & restaurants.

This was the story of my life for like 4-5 mths.
My favourite day of the week was Sunday bc parking is unlimited on those days in the otherwise 2hr zones, so I could sleep in.
