I think everyone is entitled to their opinion, thats a basic freedom we all enjoy. You do, however, have to be prepared to take the heat for whatever controversy your opinion might generate.

Fact of life: There will ALWAYS be someone who disagrees with you no matter how moral/immoral your opinion is.

One of the finer points of human interaction is the ability to debate... if you believe in something stand up for it. Don't resort to pithy comments like name calling and the such because then you come across as someone who doesn't even know what s/he's standing up for in the first place.
