windows media player 9

ok the program told me that updates were available (v.8 to 9)... so i go on ahead and update it...

it looks a little nicer and all, but when i'm trying to watch some quality pr0n, the screen just goes black after 5 or so seconds... the sound keeps going... which is enough to get me off, but still...

anyone else have this bug? or know why i'm getting this problem?

yea, it's simple MS only wants you use the contect they aprove first. Also in 9 has this nice system that they can ban the playing of any file they want.

^snyx did you read the part about how they can up date it at time, and the program does not warn you as it does? Don't you just love that? Don't you just feel secure that you don't get to decide how you up date your programs nor even know if it does? don't you love the fact it sends info on what you are playing to MS with out telling you?

Sorry dude, I'm not going to give up my freedom to use my own computer for an app that works really good right now. And I find it an issue that people vote for standard(by using them) from a company that's ready to fuck us all over.

then you should switch to lunix, or mac to a lesser extent.
what I have learned in my ages on a computer, if you wanna run a PC (windows based) computer, your gunna have to put up with all the MS shit! like.. how much can you complain about a free product? there is millions and thousands of hours put into these apps for next to no cost to use them. outlook, hotmail, internet explorer, msn, win media player, hell I bet you didn't pay for your windows.. (I sure know I wouldn't) so you have to take these things into consideration too. I mean the worst hunk of shit app in the WORLD (to me) would have to be kazza! This is a mockery of all that is shareware!! ...BUT I have it installed. don't you?

you can use win2k, mozilla and winamp? with out the MS big brother aspect.
