My school might be shutting down :(

so we desperately need new equipment, the computers are constantly crashing and they suck anyways, and no ones learning on digital equipment, which they should be, and we need other stuff like new desks, and wallpaper etc etc.

anyways, they students have been protesting this for awhile, cause they keep hearing all these promises that renovations are in the works yadda yadda yadda...and nothings happened....

so they signed a petition, then these auditors came into my school and talked to every student and teacher, and heard all the complaints.
now the owner of all three campuses might shut down the vancouver one instead of putting 150,000 to make it nice again.

maybe the students should realize that and not ask for new wallpaper......or complain about it...

Krista. I say get some protesting action going on. Or get everyone together and start some fundraising. I'm sure if the owner of the school has any heart, and you show him how much the place, AND your education there means to you he/she hopefully will put some effort into keeping it alive. And you mentioned theres more than one campus? Maybe someone can help improve the budget? Find someone with business/financial training and maybe ask them for help. Even seeing if they are willing to shut down 1 of the campus' as last resort, instead of all of them if they really don't have the money.
I dont know. Do something. I was so glad you've found something that you love to do, remember we are going to be famous together :P I'm sure there are people there just as passionate as you so don't let the place go down without a fight. That would just be lame.

yes there are three other schools, but they are all 2 years instead of one like trebas,
and they are 10 grand a year, rather then just one 10 grand shot.


and the programs havent been around as long as the one here at trebas

Well it's not the most popular school around, like UBC or SFU (almost everyone knows those two) Not everyone is going to know about it.

I'd only heard of it a few times before it started getting mentioned tons on here.
