no lots of ppl were very intrested, and i got mnay complements on my 'i look like everyone else' look and in fact i even got a few 'wow this is a really nice resume' and "you should have a phone call in a few days' and balh blah blha.

pfft!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i spent all day today looking for a job too. still no luck. Not to mention that because i'm just so smart i wore high heals again today and now my feet are litlary going to fall off.

where did you apply in downtown? sounds like you got some good on spot responses! good luck...id LOVE to have a job in downtown, especially because its such fast pace and bussyyy. i hate standing around at work... i much rather be working and talking to customers the whole time.

i would rather be standing around, it depends tho. like if ur major busy and u cant handle it than it sux, but if u have a steady flow of customers its ok my work is always slow.
but hey all u guys who need job, once u get one u wont want one anymore ull dread going to work but u do it cuz u need the money. and also once u get a job ur spending increases then u start oweing ppl $. so yah its not that great after all, i never have money anymore, and ull have no time to do anything, it depends if u want full time.
if u live at home now and u wanna get a job just to move out i dont recommend it.

^^^awwww....I'll be your friend and read your post...

In terms of what you said, while its true that a lot of the jobs available for people just getting their first job are sh*t and yyou'll tire easily from it, you can still try and find something in a field you are interested in. Love music? Job @ A&B, Virgin, Tom Lee Music, etc. Love movies? Theatre job. Most areas of interest have some form of shit job you can try to get to learn more about it.

On the $$$ side, yeah, it is easy to find yourself spending to meet your newfound income level, but that's all a matter of disciplin and self-control, really.
