i fucking hope not!
today was the first time i really felt the effects of the bus strike. trying to get home from UBC, I live on 41st which makes it simple for me to get home. and it took me over three hours to get home. lots of not so simple circumstances. so now i bid you bye,bye. and a big FU to translink! ~vesperstina

iduno about u guyz but im fuckin stuck in new west ... no where to go ... only if i walk for an hour to the skytrain... which is not fun at all.... cant wait to get my licence...then busses can kiss my pretty white ass....

i guess since my post was so "uneducated and unintelligent" i should just delete..
and what u said option_elle.. ya i don't know the whole thing and your pretty right bout what i said.. it just seems like they like to screw everyone over? well..not totally but look.. if it really bothered em all this much.. couldn't they at least talk?! i mean cum on.. both sides are refusing to talk.. and if this whole strike bothered em so much wouldn't they at least TRY and talk to see if they could work it out? not saying they have to talk and work something out right away.. but i would not be as pissed off about it if they were AT LEAST talking.. cuz then maybe they'll get somewhere.. but from all that i've heard.. they're being *quite* stupid bout the whole thing.. and i know.. it's screwing alotta them outta they're pay (and not all deserver it) and what it was about totally eliminating part time drivers is STUPID.. but still.. both sides are being stubborn and it's not getting anyone anywhere!! not them.. not those who use translink.. not those who control it.. no one! and if they were at least talking it wouldn't be as pissing, cuz then maybe they'd be able to work something out. if they were talking and still not working something out i still would not be as pissed but as of now it seems like they don't care that much. they won't even talk.. i'm bitter cuz i can't go many places anymore.. and i know alotta ppl they've screwed over.. but they're being just as stupid.. hm.. but either way i don't know everything from both sides.. Umm, please, at least understand the strike from their point of veiw. Fuck, I mean you had a rather uneducated, unintelligent post. You just got all heated bout not having the busses. You think the drivers enjoy it? Fuck no. But they give in and their giving up their rights to a beaucracy, and losing the power in their union. Besides, they are standing up for YOUR safety in essence. Bah, nuff from me.

The bus strike totally screwed me over ...... i already flamed about this badly before so i think i will restrain myself.
I honestly think that the bus strike is a bunch of crap i feel sorry for the old ppl mostly . I was at the mall and i was sitting by this little cute old lady and i started talking to her ...... she started telling me about how the bus strike has made it really hard to get around and now she barely even leaves the house ...... after she told me that i felt so bad for the lady i felt like taking her home , but i 'm sure that wouldn't have been a good idea either. Oh and then there are those poor student in collage and in university , i feel so sorry for them , they are dishing out so much money for school and half can't even make their classes anymore . My sis even moved out of the house and moved in w/ a friend in Vancouver so she could go to school. Ahhh the bus drivers aren't even on strike for money ..... they want shorter roots, i can see that point of veiw becuase there is a bus (151) that leaves from coquitlam and travels all the way to down town and back again ...... i don't know about u but that is one long time to be on ur ass and i'm sure the bus driver hates going through all that traffic and crap like that. Also they are asking for more hours for the full timers , which i don't think is unreasonable ...... blah this is such crap. I hate being stuck at home ..... i can't get anywhere this sad gurl doesn't even have her leaners (i'm starting to read the book). So this bus strike is a real bitch , i hate being stuck at home and depending on my mom to drive me around . This bus strike better end soon because like i said before this is such crap!

FUCK YOU CUNTS!! i fucking hate the bus strike. no i don't really take the bus. but it creates soo much more traffic for people who drive! and i've seen it screw over people who need to take the bus badly!..
i wanna go to the picket line near the bus depot place and punch someone in the face! :Peenutt:

i got a license but no freakin car so whats the point??? i can't see my girlfriend during the day my mom takes the car to work and the closest skytrain station is columbia and i live by charles best skool so theres no fuckin way that i am gonna be walking there thats fo sure y dont i have a car??? 1. my parents think that i dont need one(but when i use their car they complain and bitch about how im using up their gas .....blah blah blah...) 2. my parents think that i dont have enough money (howz 10 grand for ya. hard earned cash saved from white spot) 3. once again my parents say that with my cell phone bill i wont beable to maintain the car......(i use my spending money to pay for my bills not my saved money......) nuff said
