UV Rays.
They suck. They penetrate your skin and singe it to a crisp. Well, at least they do to mine. Ugh. I hate being sunburnt. It sux. Argh, back to my vat of aloe vera!
OH........ WEAR SUNSCREEN! (even though i did, it just failed to work good enough. *grumble grumble*)

ok..so i've been wanting to tan forever and being in water is best to tan so i go outdoor swimmng today..i pick the day where the sun chooses to hide behind clouds..grrr...i barely get my tan and stuff...and even worse..i end up burning my cheex...lalala...i want a tan damnit!..:Lazee:

hm.. i think your best bet is 2 go fake n bake.. i'mma do it one day.. i heard u have 2 be 16 2.. i'm not.. but i can always lie! haha (well i am goinginto grade 11) ah well.. i was tanning ht eother day..stupid meeh went ot long..and i was lieing on my stummy..and i got sunburnt on my thighs BADLY! oh... it hurts 2 sit sometiems.. arg.. but now it's tanned a lil so i'm happy! hehe

I don't mean cheap ones either. It kind of confuses me that people will pay so much money for brand name clothing but will cheap out when it comes to eyewear. It makes me cringe when I see someone with $5 shade on their face. You could actually be doing more harm than good by wearing cheap sunglasses. Do we take the ability to see for granted? I think so. I wear eye protection everywhere I go. UV damage accumilates over time and your eyes will be paying the price years from now. Don't believe me? Go get your eyes checked and ask the optometrist. I for one want to be able to see when I get old and grey. I hope the rest of you do as well.

he's right though...wearing cheap sunglasses causes more harm than good. the dark lenses allow your eyes to relax, your pupils to dialate....if the lenses are just dark, and don't block out sufficient uv rays then MORE harmful rays penetrate your eyes because your pupils are dilated...see...vicious circle. WEAR GOOD EYEWEAR!!! and i fake and bake....shame on me! but i do recommend it to get a good base tan so you don't burn....just don't be all harsh tanned cuz i think that's gross. posse out

C-Tard: I wear glasses too. My parents couldn't figure out why my grades started dropping in high school. The teachers there sorted the class based on exam scores, the theory was the best students sit at the back of the class and the ones that needed more help sat closer to the front.
My grades dropped because I couldn't see the text on the blackboard from the back of the class. I started wearing glasses in grade 8 and can't see beyond 12 inches from my nose without them. Thinking of getting those rings inserted into my eyes so I don't have to wear contacts anymore.

I finally feel like *summer* has hit...I'm a nice golden brown...and I'm feeling a little more healthier from working out for the last month or two...
I love summer...Hopefully I'm a little darker by D'OH 3...Heeheehee :Kimmie:

Im destined to remain my pasty pale color forever. I work like all day on the patio for the past few sunny weekends and I still don't see a difference. When I wear tank tops and stuff out my friends are like "Sorry, you're still white."

my arms/shoulders are tanned.. yaaaaa.... but mjojojo i bet your not whiter then meeh!! haha my legs are frickin pale.. i'mma go fake n bake..haha.. and mojojojo if you work on a patio in the sun and you wana get tan.. to help u get a base tan.. gets ome tanning gel that u just put on before.. it'll help your skin absorb the sun and tan faster.. since when your whiter.. you tend to reflect it more than absorb it... so once you get a base tan you'll start to tan more! hehehe i have tan lines.. from my bra straps/tank top straps.. it sucks.. yaaaa.. must get rid of tan lines..
