Oh really... so your saying by practicing and practicing your guaranteed to pass? So if you read your speech infront of your friends over 100 times when you get on the stage at a school assembly you'll for sure not get nervous and that won't affect your perfomance? When driving is based on reflexes , comfort plays a big part.

^^^ Try living in reality sometime and you'll understand that the saying "practice makes perfect" is quite true.
LOL! If this wasn't true then why the hell does anyone go to practice?? With practice comes confidence, with confidence you are more relaxed and can finish the task at hand. Unless you are the Canucks. :kam: |

The point I am trying to make (didn't realise it was that hard to figure out) Is that your not guaranteed to pass your first time if you practice every day for 12 months... Just because you got driving down doesn't mean you won't get nervous when you get into the car with a total stranger whos going to be deciding if you are going to be allowed to drive or not.

This thread makes me more and more nervous about booking my test to get rid of my "N". I know I have to sometime soon, but I keep on hoping that if I keep on putting it off, one day the DMV might decide "Hey, this 'N' system is pointless, let's abolish it"....hehe.
I have developed such bad driving habits...and I don't understand how, after almost 4 years, I should still be classified as a "new driver"! No where else in the world! Except B.C.! Grrr.... *Jen* |

Oh yeah, and Courtney, don't worry about it! It happens! Don't be discouraged by it... (I think luck of the draw does have to do with it too...gotta get a good person examining you)
If it makes you feel any better, I passed with 45 demerits...haha....but that's because I had the Nazi tester in Coquitlam...he was in a 'good' mood...thank goodness..... I remember my driving instructor came with me for the test and waited at the MV branch while we went out...when I came back, she looked at me with a sad face, and when I told her I passed, she couldn't believe it. She told me I was the only student she had had that had passed with that guy as the examiner....whew. *Jen* p.s. I heard that looking good doesn't hurt any either... :kam: Especially if you're a girl with a guy testing.... |
