ok so i was able to find this great place that did them for $25 it was awsome cause i had never gotten them done b4 but then not even a week later they are all off. thats not cool.


any one know a good place to get them done that isnt to pricey????

there is a kewl place on Davie + Burrard, i think fantasy nails? It next 2 a coffee place called farenheit. Its cheap and super good. They evn have little diamonds that r kinda cute.

IF you can get to Langley...there is an AWESOME place called Studio B. They do the best job...

Right now everyone at my school has them because of prom...

Anyways... Professional nails in metrotown are pretty good.. Mine lasted for about a month and I had them filled every 2 weeks... And I think that they are only $35... yepp yepp

i used to get my nails done all the time.
but...i talked to a professional about it, and they told me that getting acrylic and gel nails ruin your nail bed. they strips off your nails everytime they come off.
so now i just grow my own out.
much healthier.

i'm not trying to lecture or anything.
but this person was adament about not getting them done.
thought i'd share some knowledge.

i would love to be able to grow them out but my nails are just so weak and brittle they always peal and chip so other wise i would grow them

yea, mine used to be like that.
but then i found MAGICNAIL...or something like that.
it's a clear polish that helps harden your nails. but doesn't destroy them. like sally hansen sort of.

yuh...like $5 at your local shopper's drug mart!!!

but i will say that for my grad, i did the fake nail thing. just cuz it was grad. but all other times. uh uh. it's a no-no now.
