allergic to bra strap
I'm allergic to cheap metal, like most people are, and only recently has the bra strap been leaving a mark on my skin. now I have ugly rashes on my shoulders, what do i do.
I need a gold plated bra or something :( |

OMG, don't even get me started on this one. It hurts like a bitch and it leaves a nasty rash. When it gets really bad I have to rap band-aids around them. I found some though that don't have any metal on top of the shoulder so I have normal skin there again.
I also get a rash on my tummy from the back of my jean button and my belts. |

my sis has excema... apparently it goes away with more humid weathers.. when my sis went to japan during the summer, it went away. Dry and cold weather such as during the winter, seemed to really make it worse for her.. itchy/bloody.

i just started getting eczema on my friggin eyes when i was in calgary...scars scare me
i was hoping that reg cream would get rid of it cause prescriptions are $$$, but if it's going to scar i'll go for the cream jacob has bras with plastic clasps and all that, but yea they break easily...so i sewed it back on, i can't adjust the strap but it works |

For those with Exzema, use PREVEX....it is a protectant cream and it is great. Just go to the pharmacy and ask them where they keep it....=)
And Yoko, I don't think that it goes away in humid weather...? Because mine started a few years ago when I went to Japan and Malaysia...But I also, mostly, get it in the winter... Okay, that doesn't make sense. *Jen* |

^i guess it differs from person to person, but i know that dry weather made it worse for her=humid weather helped.
My sister was told to take chinese medicine (some sort of hormone) for them to go away. She took them when she was about 7 years old cause she wanted them to go away desperately. Kids wouldn't hold her hand in gym class cause of her excema... the problem is that the hormones worked, but it made her grow boobs. |

i had pityriasis rosea for awhile.. gives you crazy dry spots all over, you look kinda like a lepard an i had o wait it out. usually i find the less stuff i put on my extremely dry skin the better it gets. stick to the natural. i get mad dry skin in the summer cause im always in the chlorine, and the best cream i found, and i only have to use it once a week was neutragena norweigan. its killer, but if you wanna pay the price you can get basal cream, and its the base fro all creams so its super intense and is great for sensitive skin.
they make plastic bra straps... but yah they usually break after like a month. nail polish will probably only work until u wash it.. so be careful! |

TWINS WUT?
same deal with me. rashes where my bra strap is. you can paint nailpolish on them so the metal doesn't come in contact with your skin. i used to have to do that on the back of my jean buttons, but it hasn't done that for a couple years though. but i do that on my bra straps now too... to get rid of the rash, go to the doc. i went and got this cream that gets rid of the rash in 2 days tops. |
