Yeah, I hate allergy season, not because I myself have allergies, but because my bf's allergies are so bad that he is the crankiest shit in the entire universe until it's over!
I don't know what to do every year around this time because I feel so sorry for him, but no medicines out there seem to work! We've tried everything! (and I mean everything). I hope it passes soon. Hehe... Him working 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, with allergies so bad that he can't see or breathe, is not a very pleasant combo. =) Although he's doing pretty well considering. *Jen* |

i have pretty bad allergies too...
so does my buddy, claritans dont work for him, along with most other allergy medicine. but he picked up this stuff over the counter from the drugstore, cant remember what its called, but he takes 1 pill a day and it works for 24 hours, and his allergies are fine. i'll get the name/cost/availablity for those people that would like to give it a shot. |

yeah what i do to take care of my allergies is this:
1. eye drops in eye before putting in contacts (cause contacts suck when you have allergies) 2. use this nasal spray my allergist gave me, in both nostrils 3. take a claritan im such a fucking geek :( john 2899131 |

k the allergy med is called aerius, and it costs about $15 for 12 pills, and you take 1 a day. they last a strong 24 hours, so its about $1.15 a day. just go up to the pharmacist counter and tell them claritan just doesnt do it for you, and you want to try aerius.

god, those drugs are doing nothing but killing you, making the symptoms worse and causing side effects.
Here's what I do: Stay hydrated. Take vitamin C I'll bet that you guys have food allergies, making your other allergies worse... And I take this homeopathic remedy, it's cheap, safe, not drug related, no side effects, won't make you drowsy and is all natural. I get mine from Finladia pharmacy on broadway, but you could prolly get them from any decent health food store/pharmacy. here goes: apis mellifica 15 poumon histamine 15 pollens 19 canada 30 the numbers at the end mean the potency. they are three seperate remedies, you take one lil pill of each, dissolve it under your tongue. it goes right into your bloodstream and you feel better in 6 minutes. I've tried everything, the pills, the bee pollen and alfalfa thing and all of that shit, the homeopthic stuff works best, fastest and cheapest. Also, try cutting sugar out as much as possible, it really takes it's toll on your body's immune system. Give it a shot, it worked miracles for me! |

Is it possible to all of a sudden become allergy sensitive? Because I've all of a sudden become highly allergic to the outdoors. I guess I always have been somewhat allergic to certain things, but now it seems that it's showing up more
ie-more sensitive to rabbit fur and pet hair more sensitive to dust and the outdoors definately more sensitive to cheap metal... maybe allergies are contagious, heh. |
