I know how you feel.... I've lost too many people than I care to count.
One cousin in a car crash in Aldergrove last year, one friend to suicide 2 1/2 yrs ago, one to a logging accident 4 yrs ago, and two more to drunk drivers about 4 yrs ago as well. When you see people you love lose their lives it makes you realize how precious your life really is... even if you do have to carry on without them. My best advice is to think about all the good times you had and cherish them... they are all you have and are irreplaceable. I'm sure your friend wouldn't want you to mope... they would most likey have wanted you to celebrate them and their life. Sorry about your loss... just don't let it get you too down. Shawn |

I am very sorry about your loss as well. I, too, have lost an amazing friend forever from a car accident. It was yet another accident in Aldergrove (other than the one Cdn_brdr mentioned, however that one is very tragic as well) last year and a freak accident at that. It was tragic as this guy was an amazing person who shined in everyone's lives. He had a smile that was infectious. and the day he died, both my sister and I had to step back and take a look at life. It is unfair that he was taken. So young and so amazing, yet everyone who knew him turned this tragic accident around...although it was a horrible thing that happened, we all realized that life is much more precious and although we were very upset, his funeral/wake was a celebration of his life. He was a happy, bright guy, and in memory of him, EVERYONE wore bright colors at his wake. There was no black in sight. Think bright oranges, green, yellows. Balloons as well...He was the type of guy who would have preferred that:). I could talk forever on this subject but I've already talked too much.
All that really needs to be said is: I am very sorry for your loss and remember the great times spent. That is the most important thing to do. I |

I'm very sorry for all your loses. I just lost a guy friend in my old town that I have knowen since I was in gr 7. He died last week from a od on speed and he was grading that week. I miss his very much and there is no words to say how much I hurt. Sometimes when I stop and think about it,I break down. I have tried to fill my void as much a can with happy things. It was even sadder when the day b4 his death he was talking to me on msn and I said I would talk to him later..and there is no later

I lost my sister at the age of 10 this year in the last 4 months I have had 6 direct family members pass away and my parents finally go their seperate ways..... yes I know the feeling. It's fucked up but it has made me a better person, it's all very humbling. "What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger"... |
