MAJOR complaint towards GENISIS security at Foo Fighters

So I have been waiting eagerly to see the Foo Fighters for an extra month due to the fact that they had to purspone thier concert cause Dave had a throat infection. The day comes and I head to Plaza, get in there and start listening to the opening bands which werent my style of music. Then when Foo Fighters came on I couldnt help but go croud surfing, I go once and run back into the croud. There were two guys grabbing both me and this other chicks ass's and were trying to grope us so both her and I told the other guys beside us and they started giving them shit, I got the fawk outta there before punches were gonna be thrown and made someone throw me up again to croudsurf to the front. Once I made it to the front this guy from genisus security grabs me in a cop lock and says your out! and Im like wtf? what did I do, then he was like if you restrain you will get arrested. I told him he is full of shit and I tried to tell him what happened but he wouldnt listen. Outside of the plaza I repeatedly told all the security gaurds what happened in there and they said they were sorry but the guy that threw me out is thier supervisor and they cant make a decision that over rules him. But yah, as far as gensisus security goes it really fucken makes me wonder what kind of operation they are running. I dont even know why I got kicked out he wouldnt take the time to tell me. But n e ways, BULLSHIT!!!

You know what? If Dave Grohl heard this story he wouldn't have thrown you out. What did that power tripping security guard think he'd gain by throwing you out?

That is NOT fair. I know how angry I'd be if I got thrown out of that show. Was the little bit that you saw good at least? Foo Fighters always put on a good show (and I missed it myself due to nobody else to go with). I'm sorry to hear that though. What a horrible end to your night. Foo will be back though. They always come back here:).

maybe they kicked you out for crowd surfing more then once? safety factors... or the guy could just be an asshole.

Genisis handed me over to the RCMP for having a roach (at Riverside). The RCMP took me into a room for questioning. I empty my pockets and the guy asks a few questions, he figures out all I had was a roach and started laughing... says WTF are they wasting my time for.

at the last edgefest that happened i went with a bunch of friends and my brother.

my brother had gone crowd surfing during the silverchair set and i hadnt seen him since...i beleive it was hole finishing up and they were done and still no sight of my brother..he was supposed to meet me a couple bands previous...

so we searched everywhere....and everyone was leaving and security was getting mad at us for lingering...

i was getting worried cause this was very unlike my brother...i went to tot he first aid tents to ask if they had a record of my brother being there...all of them said no...we searched for almost an hour and we were getting ready to leave when i look up and see my brother stumbling over with an ice pack on his neck looking really roughed up.

he was in the pit and some girl had fallen and people were hitting her and jumping on her and she was bleeding and instantly bruising and her eyes were rolling back in her head...so my brother grabbed her and pulled her out...he asked someone to give him a lift so he could crowd surf to get out and see if she was ok....someone did but he somehow snapped his neck so they pulled him out..

he went to first aid they rushed him to the ubc hospital and let him go....
he tried to get back in to find me, while being very delirious cause he had been knocked unconcious and genisis wouldnt let him in and told him to vacat the premises...the started shoving him and knocked him to the groud...for no reason.
the put him in a headlock while my brother tried to explain what happened....and they wouldn't let him go, finally some passer by's shoved the security off and my brother ran in to find me.

Same thing happened to my buddy at a lou bega concert on new years 2000 (don't ask y I went)... They just threw him out and he didn't even do nuthin at all... Genesis sux cock for a living, so they have take all their gay frustrations on ppl that pay to go seet these shows...

Exactly, they take their jobs WAY to serious. For $9 an hour I wouldn't do anything other than sit around and be lazy. Never mind I get paid way better than that and still want a raise.
