friends that lie.

i hate it when people you expect to be your good friends lie to you
no matter what the lie.
id rather have the truth.
i ALWAYS find out.
and i rather have to deal with it,
then find out later and hold a grudge against that person.
for all you liers out there..

yes ive told white lies, fibs etc
but when ive asked this person multiple times to just be straight up honest...
and caught them in a lie multiple times..
third strike youre out... right?
should i just give up and forget theyre friendship?
or am i being too nit picky?

sure the seriousness of the lie is a factor in my response...i cant help but feel...if the friend lies about stupid useless shit then he/she will lie bout anything and everything else...your better off trustin a cactus!

That isn't a true friend if they can't just tell you the straight up truth...I say if you have givin them like three chances that you just say goodbye...Really your friendship to them didn't mean that much if they couldn't tell you the god honest truth!!Your true friends will always be truthful to you!:)

The way i see it.....ppl who lie to you do not treat you as a friend.....especially when they lied to you more than twice...

because they don't think it's such big of a deal to lie to someone who is not important to them...and friends cherish each other....


i also don't think ppl who disrespect you are friends....

It breaks my heart when my friends lie to me about shit.

I look at it this way...
if they know how you feel about it, yet they keep doing it, then they dont respect the friendship enough for you to carry on with it.
and after some time has gone by they may realize what theyve done, and change because theyve realized what theyve lost.

that is so tru when someone lies to u they aren't ur friend i actually found out that one of my friends was saying shit about me n my new bf...basically what she said was that i wasn't good looking enough to be with him....EXCUSE ME...well i confronted her n she lied to my face..so then all i said was ok peace out...i haven't talked to her since

Friends don't lie to you - not about stuff that's important to you, at least (I can see white lies done to spare one's feelings or something, etc). It shows a lack of respect so fundamental that it makes me question why I consider you a friend.

Although what I'm noticing of late is that a lot of people are pretty accepting of a lot of crap in the name of 'friendship'...although to me it looks more like alowing themselves to think they're popular and surrounded by friends, when in reality those people are merely hangers-on.
