No soymilk

Ok, you would think in the year 2003 (where probably 30-40% of the population experiences some sort of *dairy disagreement*) that every grocery store, coffee house and restraunt would offer soymilk in their establishment. But I am surprised at the amount of places lacking it. If I don't get my latte soon, I am going to throw a spazz.

They are not that bad..
if you find a place that uses So Nice..it tastes the best warmed up..and get them to put Vanilla, Hazelnut or Almond in..cause it coveres up the coffee taste the best.
If you don't like coffee try Soychai latte(no coffee)..now thats some tasty shit.

Everytime I tried a latte with soymilk it seperated and came out as this gross mess.

I end up taking my chances with regular milk these days.

thats what happens when they steam the soy over 130...which your not really supposto do. If Its made right..it tastes almost identical to a skim milk latte. If I could drink milk, I would much prefer a skim milk latte..since they rarely fuck that up.
also..SO GOOD<-----does not taste good cold or warm. That brand tastes like chalky pepto bismol.

Steamed soy for lattes is EXCELLENT if done right.

The sad part is, most major places don't know how to...

The place that does it the BEST is JJ Bean coffeehouse on Commercial dr/6th Ave.

I also hate getting the scoff every time I order something made with soy. It's like I'm some trendy asshole who just wants to order it to be 'different'. When you're lactose intolerant, making a choice for soy means you won't feel sick to your tummy later! Don't they understand?

I completely agree that they should have soy offered in most restaurants and cafes... AND that they should train their employees on how to make soy blended drinks properly... Even with starbucks, I find great inconsistencies in their beverages made with soy. I find it's not only hard on me that it limits my choice of drinking and eating establishments, but that it also inconveniences my friends when I can only buy from certain places. At least I'm only allergic to lactose and msg... I could have far greater and more complicatated limitations!

I've felt totally sick in the stomache after drinking soya lattes.
But for the most part, everywhere else I get soya lattes sick-free and fine.

All my classes are at UBC hospital, so I eat at the cafeteria quite a bit. THEY DON'T HAVE SOY MILK. They have a Starbucks station and really good daily specials on coffee (Like, $2 tall lattes and mochas), but I can't order anything because THEY DON'T HAVE SOY MILK.

AWSOME soy latte..and they even give you the choice of Vanilla Soy or Regular Soy!!! (So Nice Brand Soy)

Now I am going to be not-so-satisfied with my usual Esquires latte. The downside to living in the BOOOONEYS!
