People are so weak
People are so fucking weak. Why can't everyone just turn off their emotions for one fucking night???
Alright, let me try to write about this without freaking out halfway through. (calm breath) I told many of my friends about Spooky 8 and I said I could get them some tickets because I was going out to Vancouver to get them. I had like 13 people who all wanted to go but now, because of some stupid fucking politics only about 5 of them want to go. Well that makes me look really good. I could either tell the person I'm picking the tickets up off of that they bailed and have her mad at me or I could buy the tickets from her and sell tehm on my own accord. This is so annoying . The main reason many of tehm don't want to go is because they might see someone they don't like. FUCK They'res gonna be like 2000 people there I think you can learn to deal with teh situation as it arises. AERRRRGGGGGGH!!! Why are people so god damn weak. Why can't you just have a fucking good night with your friends without worrying about who likes who. What is this high school??????? MMMMAMRRRRGGGGGGGG alright. Thanks for reading and thank you even more for responding if you have any ideas that might help me (like kicking some sense into the people who want their money back) -Josh |

thats why.. when you say your going to get tickets.... and they ask you to get them one... you get the $$ off them then.. or dont even consider getting them the ticket until they place the cash in your hand! simple as that...
and its always easier saying you need less tickets then more. |

Honestly, just let it be known to your friends in no uncertain terms that when they say they want you to get a ticket they are committing to you that they will be buying it (especially if you're fronting the money for them, even if only for a little bit). Let them know that if they change their mind the ticket is still theirs, as is the risk and responsability for re-selling it.
Anyone who does (or has) violated this rule simply don't provide this courtesy for any longer; if they question you it can simply be explained that "Last time I got you a ticket that you ditched on and then I had to go through the hassle of finding someone to buy it, meeting them, etc which wasn't my responsablity in the first place". |
