i always thought this perfume smelled really good.

but i never had actually put any on. besides the sampler out of magazines.

today i sprayed some on, to see if it went good with my body chemistry. and after it faded a bit, it just seemed to smell even sweeter than it does in the bottle. and its startng to make me feel sick :(

has it always smelt so cheapy and sweet? or have i just never really noticed?

Most of the perfumes I have eventually smells cheapy and sweet. Maybe cuz inhaling the same kinda smell everytime I go out for like 6 months ruins it. So now I just buy super small bottles. I like the Ralph smell though, occasionally. I think the only perfume I've liked for a long time is that David Egroff Cool Waters one or something.

i like ralph.
i have a bottle at home and in the car.

and i am pretty picky when it comes to perfume.
hugo red is pretty decent too. and gucci rush.
but thats about it.

I hear ya. I can't wear the sporty scents anymore. They just smell *off* when I wear them.
Yet I have smelled that perfume on other people and it smells Ok.
I also have the same problem with this Versace Versus perfume...smelled like yummy fruit when I bought it, but everytime I put it on it smells like air freshener from the bathroom.
