Lost My Wallet!

for some reason i keep thinking when i got home... b4 i sat down i took out my wallet from my pocket and put it somewhere. but i can't find it!!

after school i went to my friends house.. and it wasn't there either..

All i can do now is be pissed off and hope for the best. hopefully it fell out of my pocket in my class that i had last block. unless the janitor decides to take it for keeps.

in my wallet i lost :

- Drivers license
- Go card
- Care card
- SIN card
- $40
- LOL! and my chipped tooth that broke off at phase one.

** can anybody tell me what i should do... about my care card .. and SIN card.. drivers license thing.

you don't even really need the sin card as long as you know your number... i've lost mine before, and had to pay a small fine for a new one, but i mean.. it's the number that matters, not the card.

good thing that that was all you had in there. You can't really get your CHIPPED TOOTH back, but by the sounds of it, everything else that you "lost" is replaceable.

i remember some of it.. i never really memorized it cause i didn't think i needed to yet.. but knowing that i lost my SIN and care card.. can't somebody take over my identity?

sin card is simps to get back..just go to ure local government related place..i dont know the names.. you fill out a form..costs ya 10-15 to replace. sorry to say but carecard is a bitch and a half.. i lost mine last summer and i gave up trying to replace it... if you find out how to replace it..let me know. drivers license..go to ure dmv place and another replacement fee.

my friend told me to call health canada.. then from there on.. they tell u how to replace the care card..

i know how you feel..over the last two months time on two different occasions i lost:
-my visa
_my drivers license
-my sin card
-my care card
-and 60 bones

however the funny thing is i never lost my wallet, only these items. i guess i lost it when i was drunk and pulling out my id for the bouncer at the club, these items just never managed to make their way back into my wallet.


it sucks but it dosnt take much to get a replacement care card, sin or visa card

Nope, all you need to do is call 1 888 788-4357 between 8am-6pm and you order a new carecard. That is relatively painless :) cost is $20 if previous card was issued less than five years ago, free if more.



My brother is in the worst habit of constantly losing wallets and cards, he has lost everything an average of once a year. I have no idea how he manages to do it, but he's become pretty good about knowing the ins and outs of replacement cards. I am pretty lucky, I've never lost my wallet. I am really overcautious when it comes to keeping an eye on it (especially when drunk..every few minutes I have to check for it..haha)

But you should totally get on getting your replacement visa ASAP, that is the card i'd be most worried about someone else having.

^^i dont have a credit card..so how should be paying for it. i heard the mailing process takes forever and is quite complicated. i totally need a new care card soon..

how would it be compliacted..they get money and then they send it to you...5-10 days later you get the card in the mail.

Payment for replacement cc's (IF there is a charge pending) is only payable by cheque or money order. Once your cheque has cashed, you'll have it in your hands in less than two weeks. no lie! The only process that takes a long time is when you're completely applying for a new account, that takes 90 days. None of the afforementioned processes, however, are complicated.

would u need to apply for a new account if u lost ur card?

i've had mine as long as i can remember.. so i guess im entitled for a free one :D thats the only good news for me i guess.
