Wisdom Teethe!
I dunno bout everyone...I was told gettin ur wisdom teeth isnt that big of a deal..... neways just got them out today....and I feel worse then i ever have
maybe im just a baby ..or have low threshold to pain but how long does it usually take to recover from this shit.....even though im guessin most ppl are diffrent ??? |

i got them done a couple months ago. not very fun at al i agree. it took me about a week to recover fully. make sure you just take lots of pain killers, whatever thery give you. normal Advil gel caps worked best for me. the dentist gave nme this prescription Emtec-65 stuff and it made me all spaced out and dizzy. you can have some if you want.
oh! and eat lots of ice cream. its the best food u can eat when u are recovering....soft and cold |

Ouch.
I was told that I gotta get mine out soon but my rents and my bro didn't have to get their's out so I'm hoping it runs in the family.. Anyways, to ppl I've talked to it usually took them around 2 weeks or less. I know this one guy that was fine like 3 days after. His advice...sleep/popsicles/tylenol. |

My wisdom teeth didn't hurt at all...that's weird. but I made up for it. The IV they put me on made me black out so bad that I didn't remember anything for 2 days. That included who I was or where I was. My mom had to explain who she was to me before helping me out of bed apparently (I don't rememeber that either) And even though it didn't hurt at all (the surgery was awsome), so much blood left my head that I couldn't stand for like a day. Talk about high...I dind't even know my own name. Cass I feel for ya, and if you don't rememebr me for a few days I'll understand..haha

It wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be.
It's going to be more painful if you wait until your wisdom teeth grow out and then get them taken out. I got mine out in the summer and they were barely over my gums. I could eat just about anything and it didn't hurt that much. I still had a week off of work, and I really would have been fine after 3 days. |

it all depends on how the teeth are coming in, and how it's done.
i had mine out in march. it wasn't fun, but it wasn't that bad either. i had the conscious sedation done, which was valium through an iv, rather then general anesthetic which you would feel worst coming off of. the whole thing only took about 30 minutes, and i don't remember much at all. i had all four removed, and two were impacted (growing in sideways and pushing against my molars) so they had to cut em in half and remove em that way. the worst part afterwards, was changing the bloody gauze. i had to get my mom to do it for me, but she's a nurse so she's used to things like that. haha after that i took a week of being at home and sleeping, not eating, and just relaxing on painkillers. it wasn't too bad at all, really. i think the most annoying part was for a month after it was done, you have the little wholes in your jaw that you have to keep food out of. and the salt/water rinse was NASTY!@#% |

donno if its been said or not...
Wisdome teeth can provide many different levels of pain it depends how they grow in and such. Your dentist can choose to either leave them there which is best, pull them out not to bad, or like me and others u get gasses and they have to go in and surgically remove them i was an extreme case and they ended up having to cut into my jaw fuck did that ever hurt I think it was about 3 weeks till I was fully recovered. |
