nope, didn't even try to steal it. didn't open the door or anything. just threw a big ole rock through the passenger window and opened up the box. the only one thing that was in there was a pack of smokes.

ouch. i never ever leave anything in my car more valuable than gum, so i usually don't bother to lock it. i don't worry about anyone stealing it since it's a pos. depending on the quality of your car, you might consider throwing in the towel and forgoing the lock.

could save you the deductible. :(

my car's not a porsche or anything, but it's definitely not a pos enough for me to leave it unlocked. just spent the whole morning cleaning up the glass and i still gotta drive to the gas station to vacuum all the slivers up. oh well, shit happens...off to speedy autoglass i go!

it's enough to buy several. deductible is 300 bucks, but speedy is saying that i shouldn't go through icbc since replacement for my side window will be a bit over 200.

man, just having a bad stream of luck today in general. lol. i doubt it's luck so much that i was just set off by being woken up early in the morning by my mom telling me that my car was broken into and to take care of it, still being sleepy as hell while cleaning up glass...then the power in my house goes out for a bit...and then i go and buy myself lunch, make soup at home and spill it on myself. lucky i've been in a good mindset for a while otherwise i'd be in primo-bitch mode right now. :P

the night of IMF i went downtown to pick up my friend then was gonna head to PNE for IMF then when i go to the parking lot my window got smashed as well. Deductable was 3 bills but in total to fix the window it was $800 grrrrrr

thats happened to me before too.. my car was parked in the bcit parking lot and the guy broke in, TRIED to hotwire the car but couldnt get through the plastic casing, and ran off with my parking pass
