Friends who just don't understand...

I hate dealing with people sometimes... I really hate it when people are inconsiderate of anothers situation.

Now I don't need to go into my situation but when friends bitch at you for something when its out of your control I hate it. What I hate even more is that when you call them on it they pretend as if you don't exist and don't talk to you because they're embarassed of how selfish they were. I love being ignored, blocked on MSN, and generally treated as if I were dead. *THUMBS UP*

Hmm...maybe you should reconsider him/her as a 'friend'.

A friend of mine once told me that what makes our friendship so unique was that I was the only one of her friends that treated our friendship as a friendship and not a relationship (aka coupledom). I think that makes all the difference.

You friend sounds like he/she is being petty and immature...if he/she is incapable of understanding the situation or at least considering your plight, I would say that he/she is not worth the fight (and frustration)

Well the thing is Jen is that I value the friendship. I always look for the best in people and when people mess up I tens to forgive them pretty easily. It just sucks being forced to feel bad about stuff that really is out of my hands.

My mother always told me that I'm too emotional... maybe she was right. :)

Yeah, it does suck to get heat for something that is beyond your control. If you have such faith in the friendship, then I'm sure that he/she will come around and see that they are in the wrong...(especially if you called her/him on it)

I'm too emotional too. It sucks. Especially since I heard that the last hour of LOTR: Return of the King was super sad. (okay, I'm getting off topic here...haha...)

Fine make fun of me if you want... but I have made incredibly good friends and met some really great people that I otherwise wouldn't have met. Granted the vast majority of I met when I was high or drunk all the time 3 years ago but our friendship and lives have gone beyond that.

I hate when friends don't call when they say they are going to, or that you had plans n stuff...i hate that so much. it's a real let down and breaks the trust in the friendship. WHY WHY can't they just FUCKEN CALL?
